p0139 and now the car won't start I checked my oil and it was low so I put a quart in. Turned the car on and drove maybe 20 feet before the car started bogging out and sputtering. This was accompanied by a large cloud of white smoke. I pulled to the side and the car immediately died on its own. Now it will turn over and catch but immediately die before it can even get full idle. No odd noises or anything. I pulled the code p0139. I checked my oil, it doesnt seem to be overfilled. My OCC was really full though. The occ had some oil on the outside so I think it could be compromised in some way, seems it had a lot of water in it. I towed the car back to my place. I got a few days before any shop is open so Ive got some time to troubleshoot myself. Any ideas? |
How long did u go between checking your OCC? How low was Oil? Y you no Hpfp? |
I went about 5000miles between emptying the OCC (last oil change) And no hpfp because I am not tuned. Just intake and rmm. Oil was at the minimum line. P0139 DTC: O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response |
Since you have oil on the outside of the can I would check all of the hoses for splits/tears. Also check all of the clamps to make sure they are tight. The 02 code might just be unmetered air. If you had a big puff of smoke you could have oil on your 02 semsor making it throw the code. Take it out and check that also. I believe crc makes 02 cleaner spray.... Maybe that is enough to get you started. |
Just dropped the car off at the mechanic. I couldnt get it started. Mechanic thinks it is something more than the sensor being bad. |
Turbo seals are blown. Stocking out for dealer visit. That should be warranty right? |
