Path Ahead - 2013 Mazdaspeedx?

I have a life changing decision ahead.... My turbo on my Gen1 is broke, so I have three paths set ahead.

Path 1 -

My car is under my father's name. I am currently fixing my credit problem, so I will be able to buy it from him for about 2K more than what he owes. The extra money can serve me to buy a BT and install/tune for it. I have supporting mods. Pro- 400+ WHP, new turbo. Cons- Car is reaching 43K miles and will continue to age and require maintenance($$$).

Path 2 -

Try to see if I can sell my car to a dealer for more than what I owe ($12.5K), and use that as down payment for a 2012 CWP MS3 fully loaded. Pros- Brand new GenPu, little maintenance, beautiful color. Cons- Payments might go up (currently sub $300), will probably miss all my mods, might regret not waiting for path 3.

Path 3 -

Hold on to my car for now and wait to see what Mazda announces for 2013; maybe a new Mazdaspeed3 with improved engine, or a Mazdaspeed2. Pros- Maybe a faster car....? Cons- Long wait..., no idea what 2013 Mazdas will be like, engine might blow up due to bad turbo from now to then.

So, now that I have said all that, what do you guys think? Any clue whatsoever of what 2013 will bring for Mazda? I googled all over and found nothing substantial. What path should I take? Please help.

Keep your Gen1 go Big turbo, and you got time to buy a improved 2013 MS3 or a MS2. Keep them all!

Man, 2013 models will probably come out in the next 6 months, too soon to justify going BT now and just dumping all that money in the trash in six months.

you arent making any sense. Keep the car, Go BT and pay the car off. I have an 09 with 65k miles on it and it would make no sense to get a '13 b.c my stock turbo was going out

I know what you are saying man, I'm just afraid dumping $2K for a turbo and tune and then something else fails. I don't mind paying for a car, as long as it is in my budget,

Solution:

Go big turbo.

If 2013 supermazdaspeedX comes out in 6 months, put stock turbo back on/sell car and use 6 month old turbo to become first 2013 BT speedX

Also, I have 82,359 miles on my 08.5. 12,000 of those miles have been with a bigger turbo. Just got back from a 1500 mile road trip to ABQ Nm and the car ran great the whole time.

Actually that is a pretty good idea. I hadn't thought of that. I think I might take the first path then. As soon as I fix my silly credit thing. Thanks! And if anyone else has anything else to add, feel free.

My genpu has more miles than your genone. I think your car will be fine. I've already blown one k04. They suck, get a gtx30 and a good tune and I bet your opinion will change.
