So beginning of this year a guy up in Fairbanks Alaska was just finishing the cpe 2.4l build on his pu. Rocking a single scroll gtx35, jmf v2 mani.

Well get this. I get a call from a guy today stating it made 420whp on the base tune with 20psi. Oh ya and it was on 90oct pump gas. Someone please wake me the fuck up.

What are some solid numbers from bt guy on pump gas so I can gauge about where this guy is at because 420 seems like an awful lot of bullshit to me.

The way I'm seeing this shop is just how we seen brentuning. They are sandbagging the fuck out of this guy. Pisses me off. I build my shit at home and self tune and I know these fhegs aren't making them numbers. This is the first time the shop has tuned a speed3 as well might I add.

Isnt the jmf v2 for port injection?
If he's rocking that bt and port injection 420 I dont think is totaly out of question.

They have the mani but no PI setup for it yet. Shit is plugged right now. And to be honest I think his is the one set up for port meth. Either way this was stock fuel system with no added fueling on 90 oct as they claim

How'd they get the motor to 2.4L?

2.5L crank with 2.3 rods?

Isn't the CPe block sleeved for larger bore?

That was with 6th port Teddy, these guys are claiming no extra fuel.

Did you ask them specifically about the fueling? and what Dyno did they use?

Once you really open up the flow on the motor, increase the bore, and throw a large hotside turbo on there the rules change a bit.

It would be nice to see some more details on this build.

I live in same town. They running 90oct fuel. That's all we got up here. They have a meth kit but wether its used or not is unknown. I asked the shop for a dyno sheet and they responded with this.

He is running the cpe exh mani (blocked off ewg) running an iwg gtx35 with the 5 bolt hotside. Not too special of a setup. He's using a jmf mani with no aux fueling other than meth kit (not sure if its pre tb or not) and a cpe 3" intake. Other than that his shit is just like most other built cars. Lol

Yes it is plausible but remember this is their BASE LINE RUN! First revision hitting 420 at 20psi?!?! I think not. Especially on low timing.
