Old one, with just the one muffler on the mid-pipe.

Thanks, anyway it sounded great. Well both set-up! When I get mine I'll try to film it and post. I'll get my tech-pro brother in-law to help me with the youtube/post this on MSF, I'm not really good with this shit.

If it's catless, then there wouldn't be any significant difference in the O2 sensor readings and it throws a CEL. CS even states on their site that if you install their DP (which is catless), it will cause a CEL.

If you run catless, there are a few workarounds. You can turn off the CEL in ATR, use a spark plug anti-fouler for the secondary O2 sensor to keep it out of the exhaust stream, or do a search for "diode fix" (not really familiar with this one).
Thanks for ALL the good Info. Its nice to see members still trying to help the newbs out. Instead of the "go search" comments. Thanks bud. I mean, I get those comments but its like if you don't like the damn question then don't answer, LOL.... Thanks bud....

hhhmm I'm kinda on the fence as well. 50/50 on the votes I see. I'm going with a CP-E catted downpipe. I'm not gonna vote though becuase I haven't heard the UR CBE in person yet.
But the CS CBE sounds sick in person. That would be the way I am leaning currently.

To reiterate - catted dp does not throw a CEL. just installed my cp-e catted dp and yea, no light, not even once.

Just to add, you can get the UR exhaust with rolled tips at no extra cost. Looks kinda stock-ish, but with a bigger diameter.

Yeah that was my problem, I've never heard either in person... I'm leaning toward CS, since I will mostly be getting their NEW catted Downpipe with racepipe attached. This new setup has no CELs.

Like I said CS CBE sounds awesome in person.
I'm going with the CP-E catted DP cause a friend of mine is selling it to me for a great price.

Do you know the cost of the CS catted DP?

Yeah, $588.00... Not too bad considering it comes with a racepipe! Does anyone know if this will sound not as loud because its catted vs a dp that isn't???

The volume level is less with the cat over the straight pipe parts by a few db.

The catted down pipe comes in an oem exhaust option, I bet it makes the oem exhaust sound great. Why not making a clip of the MS3 with oem cat-back and the catted down pipe. Here in Quebec there's a lot of pressure from the police when we have an aftermarket exhaust. Friend of mine has an Evo GSR with the AMS cat-back and he was stopped twice from the law for check-ups of exhaust and stupid shit like that...but Harley's with strait pipes are ok

Looks like the polls are @ a 50/50 for the most part. They are both great exhaust and it breaks down to sound preference. Thanks guys for the votes...

I eventually bought the UR catback and straight test pipe and I love it. It's still pretty loud, but definitely not as loud as it was with the CS catback.

Although, @Geo13 now has my old setup on his car now (UR DP + UR resonated TP + CS CBE) and every time I hear it, I wish I still had it.

Since you had both, corksport cbe and UR cbe, which exhaust tips would you say looked better? I also have a ms3 in red???

I definitely like the UR rolled tips, AND they don't cost any extra over the single wall tips. I also like that they're angle cut, just like the stock tips. It flows with the body lines a bit better IMO.

The CS tips still look pretty darn good, too. They have a straight cut. It's really just a matter of personal preference.

before you consider dropping a DP on your pu, make sure you get internals. running a full TBE on it is asking for something to fuck up.

UR is in Ontario, I'm in Quebec...shipping would be less if I order from UR
So my mind is still not made, but this summer it will be. But UR has good stuff and it sounds great.

Sorry for the late reply! Ive been busy as all hell and havent been on in awhile. My fuel pressure never dropped below the recommended specs. but then again i dont have a race pipe. Just a cat back... i just ordered a set of autotech internals and a cs racepipe with my christmas bonus so ill be sure to post up another sound clip if youd like. The reason i went with a corksport exhaust is because i heard one in person and i loved the sound. Either exhaust is an excellent pick!

Yep, UR or Corksport. I'll have to wait and see but I'm getting FP internals at the same time as the SRI/TIP, RP, CBE. If I can I'll spend the extra on a DP at the same time.

But baby steps, first and always is the AP.

Fun hobby modding, and I never felt bad wasting money on cars. It's just the way it is.

UR axleback. Cheaper than the cat back but sounds the same. It's loud at cold starts. Has a very nice tone under throttle and tolerable under cruise.

Not sure if everyone knows, but UR offers 3 different tips. You dont have to go with the ti tips. They also have a non rolled tip that is identical to the TI tips but are stainless. And then they have the rolled stainless tips which look very close to stock.

The fit and finish of the UR producsts are awesome. We are running the catted DP with race pipe and it does drone quite a bit.

Dunno about this.

The axleback changes out the mufflers, but the catback removes the stock resonator as well...

I have just the CBE from UR, and got it used to paid same for Ti tips as brand new steel ones... personally I like the look (see avatar), but really just wanted the exhaust...

I'm really happy with the tone, with 1 exception - on startup with the high spark advance or whatever it is the ECU is doing, that shit is LOUD AS FUCK.

Like if someone moves my car out of the driveway in the morning and i'm part awake, it wakes me up....

So next I'm planning on catted DP and resonated TP to see if that helps; apart from that loud initial idle, the sound is sick.

@OP where are you located? find someone local with the exhausts to take you for a ride...

How about the drone? I have Cobb DP and wonder which one will mate better with less drone. I personally like deep tone more than loud but the UR does look better.

Thanks alot.

I'm changing my tune. I might go with the CP-e cbe instead. Edgeautosport.com has it at a good price.

I'm thinking of getting UR turbo back now, but with resonated race pipe. Shipping wont be a problem since it's in Ontario.

There's good loud and ricer loud, UR and CS is All good!!!

So I am finally getting my CS exhaust with racepipe. I read on corksports website that as long as you DON'T have a "full TBE" (DP,RP,CBE) you would do fine with OEM FP even if you have a CS TIP/INTAKE. MY question is I know that if you have a "full TBE" (DP,RP,CBE) = FAIL and according to CS website RP + CS TIP/INTAKE is ok with out internals or HPFP but will CS TIP/INTAKE + RP + CBE be ok since it still isnt a full TBE. I currently have CS + TIP/INTAKE and after I installed my RP and CBE I will no longer be modding my engine and just more apearence. What do you guys think.

I got lost with all the abbreviations lol.. You "should" be ok with your current mods and a CBE. If you know anyone close by with a AP for the MS3 or some way to log/track your fuel pressure, I would say do it. You really need to check and make sure your FP is not dipping. I think you should be okay, though.

I tried not to abbreviate but it was so hard lol

lol, thanks bud. Sorry if I made it more complicated then it should have been. Really my questions is will I be ok with a Intake, Turbo Inlet Pipe, CBE, and Racepipe with no Internals or Aftermarket Fuel Pump since it isn't technically a full Turbo Back Exhaust since I will NOT be adding a down pipe?

Get an accessport. Otherwise you aren't even touching the potential of those mods. Seriously. Yea its 550 bucks or so but theres no point on modding without it. It will monitor your fuel pressure and everything else you need.
