Ok just picked up my 11 speed3, its got 116 miles on it now. Whats the break in period for this car? 500 miles? also, about to order some parts and was wondering, if all i do is intake/tip (corksport), test pipe, and catback exhaust, do i NEED a fuel pump? also getting a jbr rmm.

break in is 10000 miles, and you will need a pump for a rmm.

I was told 600 miles

With the TIP you run the risk of boost spikes, according to Cobb (regarding the FP)

The only way to know if you really need an FP is by getting an AP. I would invest into this before getting a CBE. A CBE will only give you sound, no performance

I had a intake/tip/tp/ets tmic my fp was fine didnt get one until I got a AP so I could go stage 2, key is to monitor.

so you are saying i should be fine if i do intake,tip,tp,and cpe without the fp?

Im saying you should monitor your fuel pressure, and giving you an example of what my car was able to handle.

Yes, you are likely to need a hpfp internal, if you are installing that TP.

But without having a device to watch your fp, we can't say if you really need it or not.

OP get the test pipe installed before you order the CBE, you may change your mind about wanting it. the test pipe is a pretty good increase in sound by itself.

yeah but i figured if i do want the cbe than i need the 80mm flange on the end of the test pipe, right?

Someone else should confirm this, but i am fairly certain corksport says that the 80 mm test pipe will bolt up to the stock exhaust and seal correctly. I know that on my car once i installed the test pipe any desire for a CBE was gone.

yeah i wanna know this too. my buddy said it should. if thats the case, im gunna order that too. how loud is it? 1-10 1 being stock and 10 being aftermarket cbe.

Cant really answer that as i haven't heard a CBE on one of these in person. My recommendation would be to just order the test pipe and install it, see how it is and then decide on the CBE later, you arent really saving any time or money by doing them at the same time.
