Popping/Clunking Sound Going Over Bumps

So here lately, I've noticed that whenever I go over even the smallest bump or pothole or any uneven surface at all, there is a very audible popping or clunking sound for lack of better words coming from underneath the car on the front end. It's from the wheels, whatever it is and it's on both sides of the car. I have no clue what it is but it is not quiet by any means. I'm not too familiar with suspension on cars but I know enough to know that this isn't normal. Haha. It has been doing this since I've had it. I'd say for maybe about 2 months now, so I just got this car. I just never thought anything of it, but it's getting really annoying now and I don't want to mess anything up beyond if anything already is. The guy that had this car before me put a COBB rmm on. Mind you, I have had to unfu** a lot of crap that the guy before me has done already so it wouldn't surprise me if the rmm is my issue. However, like I said, I'm not too familiar with that kind of stuff so I wouldn't know what to check. Help me out guys. This is really bugging me. Whatever this is, it is only the popping sound. Nothing else is being affected like steering or stuff like that. I have no other complaints other than the popping sound. It's just annoying to hear that sound EVERY time I hit a bump. Also I don't want to blow this off and let it turn into something more serious and cause me more money than necessary. Let me know what ya'll think. I really appreciate it.

Could be a swaybar endlink. Pretty easy to check.

2nd it is endlinks. Mine make noise and its due to a lack of tension due to ride height. I've adjusted it twice now and it still isn't fixed. I need an alignment anyways so I'm probably just going to take it someplace that can put it on a lift to see whether the sway bar is level. Then fix it and the alignment.

tapatalk, it sucks

Can ya'll school me up on what an endlink is lol. Or how to check it?

Use the msf search feature and/or google it. "Mazdaspeed front endlink" should get you plenty of info.

It connects to the strut and goes to the sway bar. If you crank your wheel one direction or the other you'll be able to see it.

I had this same problem and kept thinking it was endlinks. In a sense it was in that same area. I say look around and you'll find it eventually.

Here was mine

Could you move the sway bar at all with your hand in that condition?

Nope it was jammed in there hard. I could barely get the bracket off as a matter of fact. What's odd is that it took months for the pop to develop into what I saw in that picture. I looked before and it looked good as gold. End links were solid. Got under the car again and bam it was like that. Replaced with new ones and all my annoyance is gone.

Looks like I'll be putting the car up again to take a look. I've tried to move the sway bar to no avail.

end links, swaybar brackets, and my thought is strut mounts or bearings are fucked. I had that on my car.

Just reporting back to say that the problem turned out to be the end links. Exactly what you guys said. The top bolt on the passenger side front end link was extremely loose. After tightening it back up, no more clunking sound. Thanks for the help guys.
