Post Purchase MS3 Maintenance?

I was hoping this was a sticky someplace, but i cant find anything on it.

Ill start by say, im not looking to do any mods yet. That isnt what this is about. I buy cars so rarely and this being my first turbo car, im unsure what all i need to check/replace after purchase.

So far, ive replaced the cabin air filter, which needed it. The dealer changed the Oil/filter, air filter, brake pads and replaced the front rotors (as the old ones had pitting). One person suggested i also change the spark plugs, which may or may not be needed.

So im just curious, what else should i look into or replace on the car to get it to optimal running condition?

It has about 48,000 miles on it.

If this is the wrong place, let me know where i should post this, and if this is stickyed someplace, let me know where..

Thanks

Full EGR Delete (or simply unplugging the solenoid if you have smog test bs in your state), Intake valve cleaning (needed with all Direct Injection cars), Injector Seals upgrade (might as well while intake manifold is off) and sealed oil catch can between PCV valve and intake manifold (Damond Motorsports Stage 1 OCC recommended imo). Switching to a better K04 oil feed banjo bolt from Damond Motorsports couldn't hurt along with disconnecting the valve cover vent from spraying blow-by oil into the turbo inlet (Vent to atmosphere). K&N Breather filter & 5/8" Vatozone plug is all this easy modification it calls for. Keeping oil and soot via EGR from being consumed during combustion will keep you from getting detonation and lowered octane etc. There's how-to's all over this forum for all of the things I listed so do your research and you'll be able to make your new MS3 last a long ass time.

Change to a better oil #1 , dealer uses conventional in our cars. Go with royal purple 5w30 dexos or Rosella t6 5w40. Yes change spark plugs, if you wanna do mods get one step colder, if not go stock. And HPFP and AP before any other mods, two most important things on these cars.

um... i forgot where the acronyms are.. Remind me what HPFP and AP are?

I think my first 'mod' when i get to it will be one of these, cause i dont like how thin the stock one is.

High pressure fuel pump internals and accessport. I want that too, just can't justify the price yet lol

Those are more mods than maintenance. Im not looking to mod anything atm, just replace 'regular maintenance' items that should be replaced when one buys a new/used car.
