(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I just intaslled my atp hpfp this week-end and broke it in for the 100 miles like I've read. Kept an almost constant eye on the pressure and did some logs and everything looks fine! Now the question is, I bought an OBX uncatted downpipe a month ago and was waiting to install the hpfp before installing it. Now that it's done I was wondering if during winter (in Quebec, Canada) is a good time to install it and get a tune. It's always below freezing point here, so am I better waiting this spring for the install and E-tune? Or just slap it on and run a ots stage 2 maps? My mods are in my sign. Thanks for your advise! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you are ready for your e-tune and don't really plan on modding much more then you can go ahead and order your tune. All of the approved MSF e-tuners are more than capable of setting you up with something that will work all year round. Once you order your tune you should get a base map from your tuner. At that point I would say you are good to install your DP and start tuning.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Alright, so it doesn't matter if it's freezing cold outside I can still get a proper tune. Good news for me then! Guess I'll be installing my dp soon enough! thanks! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The only issue you might have is getting proper logs if you have traction problems with your weather.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ask yourself this.....you wait til "summer" (because Canada, ice all day errry day) and get your tune... what are you gonna do when winter comes again? Either way you're going to have to deal with seasonal changes and the e-tuners will do tweaks for relatively nothing compared to the original tune. Might as well get it on and tuned for now.

| Not Ranked : 0 score My experience is limited but when i was getting tuned last year during winter the tuner asked me to hold off at certain points until it was warmer (above freezing) to get logs to make sure everything looked good. I'm not sure of the significance. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Depends on the temps, if it's below freezing temps, I would hold off a bit. If not, it's perfect boost weather...
