Rear Wiper blade

Just wanting to see if anyone has used this

Supposedly should be a direct replacement.

Now that we had the rear blade situatuon taken care of - what front wipers to get?

Nliiitend1 12-23-2014 07:51 AM

I got one for my Won.

Ended up removing the blade itself from the plastic holder because the hole where it attaches the car's arm was significantly larger and looked goofy. It would have worked that way, but it was easy enough to just swap the blades...

The one has a different arm - from reading yours is either the 14-D or 14-F

InkedInspector 12-23-2014 08:04 AM

Ernesto, time to delete that shit.

Yeah. I bought the one for the Gen 1 (the "D"). Still had a gap.

+1

All the "Direct Fit" ones I've tried had the gap. I just swap in the blades.

Thanks - I'll just grab a rain-X expert fit from Wlamart then and swap the blades(ends up being about $3 cheaper that way)

From reading how to - blade swap shouldnt be that hard.

What front wipers is everyone running?

shamie 12-23-2014 08:31 AM

Bosch Evolutions - they work better than the Icons for me.

I put the Trico on as is. Gap may be larger, but it didn't bother me enough to keep the OEM blade.

Thank you for posting a pic - I'll most likely pull the rubber and transfer it - that gap would annoy me

I'm torn between getting the Icon's or the Insight series(Insights are on sale on MAazon for $22 for 2)

I like my Rain X latitude wipers up front FWIW

Mchart 12-23-2014 12:51 PM

When I had the car I used a number of 'higher end' wipers and they all sucked due to the weird shape of the windshield. The standard metal frame wipers always worked best for me.

Rear Wiper blade

I honestly don't know I bought it 2 years ago and it doesn't have a brand label on it.

Edit: I want to say it was in a black and yellow packing

SaveMelMac 12-23-2014 07:51 PM

Trico's 14a do not have the gap. Have replace several times with the tricos none have a gap.

As for the fronts Bosch evolutions have been very good to me.

I bought the wiper refill from Mazda. Don't remember how much it cost but it was too much. Spent about 15 minutes looking like an idiot in the parking lot trying to insert it. Never again. I'm just going to buy the whole blade. Thanks for posting this information, guys.

For the Gen 1 at autozone it's a duralast 14D, no gap and it's $10 FTW
