Returning to stock.. Warranty? Hey I have a injen Sri a turbosmart bpv and I'm running a stage one Cobb ap. I'm losing fp and I know my pump is shot. So I plan to upgrade. My question is if I convert completely back to stock and run the car will I still lose fp?? And if I do could ibring it to a dealer and get it replaced? Just the stock pump? |
1. remove mods 2. flash to stock map 3. check FP when stock 4. if fuel pressure is bad still and you feel pump is shot 5. take in for warranty if you have warranty on car If fuel pressure is fine wait until you get HPFP before dicking around. It's not worth it to have fp drop and pop. very simple really |
Thanks alot. One question. How could i ever tell them the fp is gone without mentioning mods? Make them come with me and feel the drop? |
doesn't void your warranty to say you have a monitoring device to make sure things are running properly |
Thanks alot. And if anyone is wondering. I called cp-e today and they have a pretty big batch of pumps ready to ship Out :) |

I have Autotech internals in stock for 350 shipped :) |
^^^350$ sounds wayyy better than 700$ i think, jump on that shit quick |
eric, pm me the info i need to order thoes internals, the credit card is ready! |
I would just grab autotechs. Even a new stock pump is probably gonna have issues with ap demand and a fp is a great mod for safety. Save the warranty and get fp internals. |
