Hit the injector wire and shorted it causing the fuse to blow in the fuse box. Used the radio fuse in place, started right up

| Not Ranked : 0 score Check the out the wires carefully which took the damage. If there they are pretty torn up cut the wire and make a new connection if you can with solder and good heat shrink. You need to make sure the repairs are sealed well to prevent anything from coming up in the future. -Derrick |

Just do what I did. Look at the pic I posted before. It is a $4 rubber brake pedal pad and a zip tie. I have not had any issues and its a cheap effective way to not have to worry anymore.

| Not Ranked : 0 score When I installed mine I made sure the band was as far away from the harness as possible because I read it was a problm here but, it would be easy to install the SRI with the clamp next to the ECU wires, live , learn, read, donate. MIke |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for the post dude, when I did my install I tried to avoid this, but seeing this got me thinking. Went out to check my handy work and sure enough one of the clamp screws were close enough to fray the tape a little...took off the intake and cut off the extra screw with the trusty dremel and rotated the clamp a little.
