Shift Knob Came Apart 1 Attachment(s) Although I have a Gen1, I enjoy the Gen2 shift knob. So I switched probably 10k miles ago. I was driving last night and it felt loose at the split, which was odd. Today, i shifted from 3rd to 4th and my knob opened up! Strange thing is, it clips right back in and only with force comes out.
