Another perspective:

I've done some brutal launches on the stock mounts, have never had a single instance of wheel hop in the wet or dry (please someone tell me how to create wheel hop in this car?), have never had the "engine hit the firewall" (this one still baffles me, I mean people need to learn rev matching to avoid this and wearing out their clutch at 50k miles), like my shifting action just fine, and don't have to explain to anyone about why my car rides like a tractor when they ride or drive it. Mounts will come, for me, when slicks come. Instead of wheel hop, adjust your computer so you go instead of peel wheels.
I've never had wheel hop, but I have had "knocks" when shifting and it not being smooth going into gears. It didn't matter whether I was driving hard, easy, super fucking easy or whatever. It just happened whenever it wanted to happen. I could shift that thing like butter and still have these knocks when shifting. It wasn't when letting out the clutch it was when slipping it into a gear with clutch fully disengaged. For the most part, it has cleared up with the new mount. It slips into gear smoothly, like a tranny should feel.

You could call driver mod all you want, and I'll admit that I'm no professional driver, but I sure as fuck know how to drive a manual transmission, and I've never experienced "issues" like this with any other car I've ever owned or drove.

Maybe your shit is built better.

Hey is that aftermarket mount completely SOLID? Or are there rubber bits in there somewhere? I would expect, with the naming convention being "xx durometer" that there is some rubber in there. I only question because I would be leary of any mount that doesn't give SOME amount of give even if its 10% of what the factory mount "gives." Thanks for the pic bro.
Its (the red part) polyurethane. Durometer is the stiffness of the thane or rubber the mount is made from. The higher the number, the stiffer the mount is.

There's a very small amount, at least from what I was able to see.

"It slips into gear smoothly, like a tranny should feel. "

That's one huge difference I noticed. It actually feels like a manual transmission should. There's just something... Off... about the stock RMM. It makes the car feel really strange.

I just love how much the RMM lets me FEEL the car now.

Installed Forge BPV V1. Install was extremely quick. Took no more than 15 minutes and that was including time to stop and take some quick shots and just to see the differences between both.

It's not as loud as I thought, which is good for me. But it does have a loud CLINK noise if you go WOT. Something I'll have to get used to.

for what its worth, i have the blue gauge mounted in the vent just to the left of the sterring wheel and i cant say its too bright, and in that position it keeps a glare off the window / windshield. As far as the white is concerned though idk :/

Hmm, alright then. It does have am amber setting for night, but I wanted it to match the dashboard all the time.

Besides a low whoosh and a loud clink, the turbo seems to respond just a bit better. Might be a placebo effect though. But that's what I notice vs not having it. The turbo just doesn't spool down as quick.

I just installed mine also and love it. It will make vibes like a mofo but I like the fact the I'm feeling the power and the motor really let me know what's going on. I also get vibes on launch and a little around 2500-2900 rpm range up until 4th then smooth as butter. And the shift quality is amazing with the Chrome Molly.

You won't notice the vibes after two weeks.

New riders will.

So,

My BPV is making extremely long and loud fluttering noises. Research brought me to learn I must take apart the BPV and clean and regrease. Sadly I bought this used, and do not have any extram shims or OEM rings to use.

Hoping the BPV is not fucked.
