(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score After the the installation and alignment, I started smelling this super faint burning chicken smell and my first reaction was that I was rubbing. I had been rubbing previously which led me to do all of the above. Today, I pulled off my fronts and thermo formed my inner liner (front bumper side) just to be sure and checked for any spots. All I found was the slightest black mark on my passenger side perch. My rears don't have perches and are adjusted from the bottom so there was no interference there either. Has anyone had this before? It does seem like it's coming from the wheel wells because while I sat in the parking lot sniffing my wheels (looking like an idiot) I could smell it. I've been doing everything to fit this 245 tire but it's becoming a gigantic pain in the ass. Has anyone else with the same setup run into this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score It's funny you say that. I was getting angry in my garage and yelling, "I WISH I COULD RECORD SMELLS." Last edited by chrisjnas; 05-06-2014 at 07:30 PM. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score You mean for the front at the perch? It was really the tiniest bit of rub, like I couldn't even see where it touched on the tire. You think that would cause a smell? I smell it as soon as I get out of the drivers side and if I walk to the rear of the car I can smell it too. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Well if u have black mark on the perch it must be making contact with the tire. Maybe just went u hit bump or dips or w.e and at as 60 mph it deff can create a little heat causing the smell. I am not 100% but thata my guess. Like i said if you can adjust ur camber from that -2.2 to about maybe -2.0 that maybe be enough to stop the rub. I know stock camber is -.95 i believe so why are u running -2.2? (Not judging just wondering)

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Rear fenders come super close at -2 so I added a little extra. In the front they clear both the fenders and liner at -1. Although, I did have to thermo form them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Just to be clear, I'm not entirely sure it's my tires causing the smell. If anyone has any other ideas I'd love to hear them. I say that because I was out doing WOT logs and didn't smell anything afterwards. I'd imagine if it was rub, I would of smelled it especially after being on the highway. |

| You probably have a squirrel that decided some of the insulation in your engine bay was good nesting material, and it climbed in there and got cooked.
