Well, I've never really owned a fast car; I've driven tons of fast cars, but never owned one. And my most recent DD was a 1998 V6 Chevy Malibu. :/ So for the moment, the speed is plenty fast. I keep telling myself that I'll leave it stock, but we'll see what happens when I start getting use to it. :D

I just love the white.

I know, I wanted red, but the white is sexy as hell in person. It has like gold flakes in the paint, so its more pearlescent. Looks awesome. I can't wait to tint the windows. I think the tint will compliment the color that much more.

It definitely gets attention though. Had a couple people (and gsxr 600) pull up on me trying to mess with me. I just let them go. At 130 miles, I don't care to dog my car. I've been trying to baby it.

I bought the car right after it rolled off the truck, so I'm the only person to have drove it. :D 100 miles was accumulated in less than 24 hours. And obviously I got on it a couple times, but I want to give it at least 1k before I get into it again.

i said the same "im not modding my car" line when i picked up my speed. now im partially modded thanks to the MSF devil :shrug:

The good thing is, there is no "break in", just drive it like you stole it, feed it premium gas, and enjoy.

a rear motor mount will help wheel hop-a lot. It's a gateway drug, though, and leads to intakes, intercoolers, and more.

Thanks man. The sales manager was telling me the white is a little more rare as this one was the first one they had shipped in. It was the only one they had at the dealership, so I didn't have a lot of options. Not that I needed them. I'm loving the white.

I've had my Gen2 for over a year and a half and I still think it's plenty fast without any mods. Part of it is probably that, like you, it's my first fast car. The other part probably has something to do with not having driven a manual since the early '90s, and even then it was a four speed. Steep learning curve for me.
