I'm about to purchase a 2012 speed3 in a week or so and I was curious if I just added a cbe if I would have any problems down the road without adding anything else? I don't want to void my warranty yet so I figured a cbe would be the best way to go for a deeper sound till my warranty is up.

General consensus around these parts is a cbe is not needed till 400 whp or so. I did a sri for sound. I love hearing the turbo sound over the exhaust but that is personal preference.

I'll be nice first. No a CBE on this car does not have any effect whatsoever. No HP gain at all and sometimes not even much of a sound difference. It's just a huge waste of money. But it also won't void your warranty. You would be better off putting that money towards something that will actually do something for your car. If you want a warranty, keep it stock. The dealer can and will fuck you for anything. Also this is not the site to be asking about shit that keeps your warranty. We don't care and we are smart enough to stay away from the stealership unless we have to, in which case you stock out before going in anyway.
Now for the bad news...you should have searched before asking that question. This forum has 1.5 million+ posts and your question has been answered and any question you ask in the future (if you stay here) will have been answered already as well. Don't be lazy, SEARCH. Consider this a fair warning from a nice guy... Now prepare your anus....
