Well, monotonous was a huge help and we got my internals installed, and after 60 miles of driving, no problems to report yet. Thanks again for the help man.

But damn, I certainly do not have GI Joe Kung Fu Grip. That bolt would not come out and we didn't have a vice. Luckily this mechanic at tire kingdom or something, put the pump in one hand and used an impact wrench with the other and the nut came right out. So if anyone else is planning on doing this, a vice grip is highly recommended.

cause if you get only a pump...you feel nothing and your wallet is relatively emptied

if you get only an AP...you start fuel cutting and have to dial back the power...and while it is a little more powerful and smoother and such...you dont get to come anywhere near reaping the full benefits

Well, I just ordered an ultra gauge to make sure my oem fuel pump along with fuel trims are good. Time to start saving for internals and an AP lol.

I'd cancel that order... I have bought enough stupid shit for this car for tuning (standback, dash daq, defi boost gauge, etc.) but in retrospect, the $550 for the AP does everything the $1000+ worth of stuff I just mentioned did (arguably better).

If I were you, (this is what I ended up doing) I would save for the ap. Get that on your car and make sure everything is running good. You can also remove the nannies and get a little more smoother power from the ots map.

Then save up for a fuel pump. Get that fucker on the car, and then you will be set to continue modding how you see fit.

I understand being a poor college student/ grad, but don't be like me and waste what little you have on something that is not gonna be useful in the bigger picture.

To me, the ideal beginning mod path (if I could do it over) would be:
rmm
ap (to make sure everything is running right and the car is responding well to mods)
fp
sri
test pipe
and beyond
