Yes I know I shouldn't ask, but what are the actual dimensions of the inside of the trunk with the seats upright?

I do not have an MS3 yet. I am in the market and need to know if my climbing equipment will fit.

How is this even close to possible? Even on road trips with me getting on it once in a while, the most I am brave enough to squeeze is 340. On average I get 260 - 310.

FYI - my mods have not affected my mileage.

No offense but a pic of the trip meter doesnt really prove much.

All you have to do is let it roll through 2 tanks. We would have no way of knowing if you did or not.

Not that I dont believe you, because why would anyone lie about something as stupid as this. Just sayin is all.

15 gallon tank x 30 mpg (super best case scenario to average this for an entire tank) = 450 mile range. Still think it's a bit generous though. That would require you nearly draining your tank dry and staying in peak efficiency for that entire time. if we go with the claimed mileage of 22 combined (which is admittedly still slightly better than my average) we have 15 x 22 = 330 miles. But then again, I try not to let my cars get below 1/2 tank, trying to be nice to this already fragile fueling system.

Are you sure you own a speed3?

I get an average of 300-330/340 driving pretty conservatively, with a couple WOT pulls. That's with backroad driving and the occasional bumper to bumper for a couple minutes.

Edit: To get 390 out of 15.9 gallons, it could be 24.5 mpg which is feasible. But that means you're driving your tank till you're running on hopes and dreams. Or if you're getting 27+ mpg it might be possible as well. I guess I could see it, but I would call your mileage.... not typical.

Double edit: that 300-330 per tank is filling to about 12-12.5 gallons. I do the math when I fuel up and average 24-26 mpg.

So much hatin on miles per tank. Read the info I posted if you don't like it gtfo. I have no way to prove 390 or even higher I've achieved. No I don't own a ms3 I'm just trollin the forums makin up bogus mpg claims. I have a fuel tank upgrade that supports over 32 gallons of unleaded mid grade gasoline that I fill up on a regular basis as well. Mod can delete thread.

I have no idea why I even donated to this thread.

Are you located in Germany (or somewhere in mainland Europe) like the photo in your sig suggests? 390Km per tank sounds more like it...either that or you are running on "0" for 60 - 100 miles. If so, who the fuck needs skyactiv!

[QUOTE=SilkySpeed3;1398988]
0-60- Looks like plenty of reports of 0-60 on the 2012 MS3 in 6.3 seconds with a perfect launch. The average driver or stripper won't see this time out of stock. Though im sure not many stock drivers will be stripping their cars.

I would think strippers would post an even better time, since they're not wearin' much clothes and all. Post pics of stripper titties ftw!!

I have been driving through Miami for the last couple of weeks, just doing the drive to work through city streets (no highway at all). Trip computer says 20.1 MPG, but calculating at the tank I got 19.54 MPG last tank, and 18.06 this time around. Just awful. On my drive down from New York, all highway, I was close to 28 or 29.

Congratulations you learned two things that everyone else has mentioned here, the trip computer reads high and you get really shitty mileage in town compared to highway.

i drive all city and get 310 miles to a tank. at 40-45 mph in 5th gear. 50+ is 6th gear

stage1 cobb tune everyelse stock. tune got me from 265 to 298-310. if i stand on it alot it is aweful. AC always on

keep boost guage below 0 and mileage is good. 0 or above is bad mileage.

Better stay out of the throttle, if you are using that high of a gear at that low of speed. Fastest way to ZZB is loading this car up down low.

Guess I'll chime in since I always run my tank down to almost nothing before I fill up..

I always stop and fill the tank back up as soon as the idiot light goes on.
Every time at this point, I am at the 270 - 280 miles traveled point.

After a fill up and calculating the MPG, I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 21 - 23 MPG.

My M-F drive is 22 miles each way. Mostly highway. Pretty clear in the morning, lots of stop and go on the way home.

I've averaged about 24-25 MPG with a mix of 35% city and 65% highway. I do a couple of pulls in there. Pretty good if you ask me. The insurance quote is definitely helpful because it's one of those expenses you kind of overlook when you're looking at a new car. To reinforce what you posted, I'm 22 and my insurance is $130/month.

Great! Good to hear at least something I posted in here is accurate and no one wants to challenge it.

Yeah, this confuses me, too. My warning light comes on, I drive for a bit, the computer shows a range of 10 miles, and when I fill up, I am only putting in 13.2 gallons or so. Can anyone confirm this for me??????
