Back in.... I'm anal about torquing the plugs into the aluminum cylinder heads these days. I know my hand is "specially calibrated" and I'm sure you think your hand is "specially calibrated" but putting plugs into an aluminum head is one area where even I don't trust my own "gut feeling."

OK so you now have what I want to get on the exhaust side (stock DP, stock 1st cat, resonator delete, replaced 2nd cat with catless pipe, and stock CBE)..... NOW, the $64,000 question: WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE? Stock but louder? Ricier? Higher pitched? I ask because I am one of the few people who absolutely LOVE the way the stock car sounds. It's maybe 20% too quiet but otherwise it is pitch perfect to my 37 year old ears. Does your new setup have rpms where it drones and drives you crazy driving on the highway? Hopefully it doesn't sound like Will's car with that "screamer" pipe thingy. What about lift throttle crack/pop/burble noises? Give me as much detail as possible. (I should just come and see your car, you are only 50 miles from me). Call me what you want but my days of cars being loud are over. I like fast, quiet, stealth performance. In other words, naht vtak. 6,000rpms is plenty for this old man.

dude it sounds like a beast. the TP sounded good, especially at WOT, but then when i had the resonator removed, the car got so much louder. and no, NOT ricer at all. it's sounds very similar to the STi engine, especially on a cold start. a nice loud gurgle/crack/pop. it's a little more "droney" now, but i personally like it. it's absolutely nothing too crazy. if you do it, just ask to keep the resonator in case you don't like it and you can get it welded back on.

i know there are some videos on here. i'll try to get a video of my own too.
