Didn't contribute to the discussion earlier while complimenting, but I can get to 13x pretty fast bone stock in 5th but beyond that it only really creeps up, haven't had enough road or balls to push further.

I clocked that at 50-100mph in 5.1 seconds, but that's not very fair because you started way out of your powerband. Any videos of 3rd/4th gear? Assuming you can get traction, you should be low 4's 50-100mph.

From what I've seen:

• 09+ WRX's are as fast as STI's from the factory
• Stock for stock I think an MS3 would probably beat a WRX or STI from a roll
• Stage 2 for Stage 2 I think an MS3 would probably beat a WRX or STI from a roll

From a roll the MS3 and WRX or STI would be very close with similar mods, but I think the MS3 would pull depending on the speed you started at. From a dig the Subaru should win by quite a bit if they can drive.

Once you get past basic Stage 2 it comes down to who has more mods and who can put the power down. ie. I bet I could hang with doubleflusher's 35R from a dig up to 100mph, maybe even through the 1/4 mile, but anything over 100mph and he'd be reeling me in and/or walking away.

I hit 140 mph at California speedway all day off the main straight into the Roval....Lets say i was plenty happy and could have gone faster, But i do have a turbo upgrade.....Before the turbo i would hit over 130 maybe 140 no problem also.....Very happy..Also I do this on a race track, no need to go that fast where other people are obeying the speed limit....Just too risky.....I love our cars!

He's just jelly that my stock pu can take him from a dead stop until he gets to 4th gear and actually hooks up.

this picture was taken while the car was still pulling, and was taken BEFORE I had any power mods. No SRI or TIP. Tires are 225/40/18, so the speedo isn't completely accurate. Car was stable enough for me to feel comfortable snapping a quick pic. I have since hit 155 twice. Always LATE at night with no traffic and on the perfect 3+ mile straight. With the SRI/TIP it hits it even easier.

Blurry pic is blurry. But you're forgiven because you were using it at 150mph. And I never said mine couldn't make it to the speed limiter stock, just that I've never had the opportunity... yet. Need a little bit more open and straight road, because 13X around a turn on the highway was fun enough floating that I didn't want to take that corner higher. But I'm sure with the low altitude and regular high pressure in the Houston area it will be possible to max it out on the right stretch of road.

I have some vids, but Schmitty is taking a while to edit them.

The camera was mounted on his helmet, so you couldn't see much while we were racing. All you could see was him looking straight ahead.

I was spinning the slicks at the track, but I was still able to get a 1.75 60'.

If I lower the tire pressure a bit and do a slightly longer burnout, I might be able to get more traction out of the hole.

Is your 500HP on Virtual Dyno? What correction factor? What fuel are you using? Do you have any timeslips? Looks like fun but I do enjoy being able to go WOT in 1st. LOL.

Corrected numbers can sometimes be more accurate depending on weather conditions. On LS1Tech be tend to use corrected numbers as they can be easier to compare car to car with. I have about 20 dyno runs on my car. Sometimes the uncorrected is higher, sometimes the corrected numbers are so it can balance out.

It sucks you can't get the power down, with that kinda power you should be running much quicker. I have about the same WHP (481) as you and run about 8/10th's quicker. Granted my car is RWD and I use ET Streets. What kinda tire you using? What are your 60's?

Yeah, if you dyno in the cold the SAE corrected numbers will actually read lower than uncorrected. It helps create a level playing field for people in different climates and elevations. You can look at it either way. Uncorrected is usually good though, definitely better than some 1.2 CF that is added on just to inflate the numbers.

That's what I was thinking. 122mph traps are like low/mid 400WHP numbers from what I've seen. The 60's aren't great, but aren't terrible either. Are you losing a lot of traction further down the line to hurt the trap speeds that much?

I'm surprised you're on slicks and still have these issues. It appears big power FWD cars are always just going to be highway monsters I'm sure it's a lot of fun once you get past 100mph Maybe you just need to play with your tire choices, I know there are tons of Honda's that run great times, most need crazy tire setups though.

I'll let him speak for himself, but from the outside of his car, you can hear the slicks just screaming for traction. They obviously stick enough for him to move, but they aren't grabbing even close 100%.

Then it's an air pressure issue. I don't even run a full slick and I can dead hook leaving at around 4500 with about the same power. I would play around with air pressure, even though he's FWD it shouldn't spin on hot slicks.
