dope!!

I like how they use the 5.0 picture for the v6 Mustang.

There's no secret that our car is the best bang for the buck, however it's always good to be recognized as such sometimes.

LOL at the challenger. With a 3.6 V6 it makes 305. With a 5.7 V8 it makes 375. Now something is wrong with that. We are talking adding an extra 2100cc's for 70 hp?

I've wondered the same thing since they started making those cars. Talk about an inefficient v8. They're heavy cars too, my friend has a v6 and it feels like you're cruising around in a boat.

That is laughable. I dig a challenger though. The only one worth getting is the STR-8

Agreed. My buddy had a v6 base automatic... Tried driving it once, but I could run faster than that thing can get up and go. Albeit, it was an automatic. They are huge too! I was parked next to one today and just looked at it, I believe they're longer. wider and taller than my genWon lol.

You read the list wrong, it starts at the "bottom" and ends at the top with the Hyundai. It seems they simply went with BHP figures, which is why they included cars like the Altima and left out cars like the FST. They don't take into account the actual performance of any of the cars they list.

Stingray69 10-27-2013 07:24 PM

10 years ago who would have thought Hyundi would be making a 348 HP V-6? Those fuckers have come a long way in a short time. I'll still take my happy ass Mazda though.

jeymz 10-27-2013 07:31 PM

Nice

348 hyundai horse power is like 299 real horse power.

And 260 Mazda horse power is more like 220 real horse power.

SaveMelMac 10-27-2013 08:38 PM

Read fail. Ms3 last on list lol.

not quite. but hyundai engines are extremely overrated, that genesis will only make 348 under lab conditions.

Yeah, but still has the biggest smile.

mxlplx71 10-28-2013 10:06 AM

I caught that after I posted it, It does seem dumb to number them like that.

LumberJack 10-28-2013 10:09 AM

Nice review. Glad to see we're at the top

We're at the bottom, rated by horsepower only.

obijack 10-28-2013 04:39 PM

lol we are at the top...of the bottom.

Voltron 10-28-2013 06:57 PM

My car, with every mod done is still under the 30k mark.

These cars can pack so much punch for the buck. I know plenty of evo and sti guys that would love to be able to say the same shit.

JgamB 11-01-2013 11:52 PM

They left out the lesser version of the Hyundai Genesis 2.0T that makes 274 HP and costs less than the 3.8 by a wide margin, starting at 24k. Not that I'd buy one, but it's a RWD alternative if you like numb steering and sloppy handling.

iammike 11-02-2013 12:22 AM

Stupid list is stupid. Their only consideration was how much BHP (as advertised, not real world) they could get for under $30k. They would have been better off with a HP per Dollar list.

EDIT: Better yet, if HP for value is the concern. HP per dollar multiplied by avg MPG.

FullTilt429 11-06-2013 09:41 PM

Don't forget weight to power ratio... the MS3 and genesis would dominate that. Add in functionality and I can put 3 adults a 3 golf bags in my MS3. Try that in the genesid...
