Stage 2 stuff came in, woot woot! Alright, well on monday I received my Ultimate Racing turbo back exhaust from Edge ( Thanks Eric for making it so easy). Since ill be pretty busy with work , install will be done on the 15th. Good news is ill be heading over to my buddys house with a lift in his garage to do the install so hopefully the dp install wont be a fucking PITA. http://i477.photobucket.com/albums/r..._out/URTBE.jpg |
Oh, it'll still be a PITA. |
It's a beautiful sight isnt it? When I opened my box I just wanted to lay with the piping. |
Ive done 2 DPs on 2 speeds on floor jacks and it wasn't very bad at all. A little time consuming but its pretty easy. |

Enjoy the awesomeness, until the day you have to put it all on your car. Then you'll hate it for about 4 hours, and fall right back in love again. |
DP ain't that bad with the right extensions and swivels. Was cake compared to the FSB hell I just went through. |

That looks pure sex. One hell of a nice looking set up. |
I just installed my UR TBE that I got from edgeautosports as well over Memorial day weekend. It wasn't too bad to do - took about 10 hours over two days. Two tips for you: 1). Make sure you drive your car for a while get all the bolts around the turbo nice and hot before trying to remove them. I started taking all the heatshields off the car right when I got home from work (30 min drive) so I could get access to the 5 downpipe nuts. Sprayed everything with PB blaster, waited 5 minutes, and they all came out every easily (3 nuts, 2 studs + nuts). I had the 5 bolts off in less than 10 minutes using a breaker bar, various extensions, u-joints, and 14mm deep socket. 2). When you are getting the pipe into place the goes over the rear drivers side suspension, there is a black piece of plastic that needs to be removed (http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/foru...12/). If you don't remove it, you won't be able to get the pipe in. The pipe goes over the rear arm and suspension from front to back. |
Catless Huh? I just got my UR TBE from Edge as well. Eric is the man! |

lol! Honnestly, one pull and ittle be covered :D |
Now for all the neccessary tools that I need for the install, do the tools on the corksport install guide cover it up? Any missing? Any there for no reason? Just wanna get all my shit organised for when I do the install instead of being half done and realizing I need a missing tool. |
