Stock Tires

The more power I pu on this car the more Iam realizing that the stock tires suck! Same thing happened on my 5.0. What tires you guys have on your rides?

$60 cheapos called hexa forceum's or somethin like that. Put them on the car about 4k miles ago and still goin strong. They are pretty meaty and stick fairly well. If I had the money, I would go nitto 555's, Yokohama s-drives, or hankook v12's.

I put AWD on my car so tires are not near as important. Traction for the win.

AWD doesnt necessarily mean traction lol. I can break all four tires loose on my Audi (Audi's quattro on the A4s is a Torsen, fully mechanical system).

Out of curiosity, what type of system do the speed6's have? If I had to guess I would say Haldex (fwd biased).

Tokay444 08-03-2012 09:59 PM

It's much like the TT system.
Yes fwd biased.

Darth_Nuruodo 08-06-2012 10:46 AM

Yep, FWD bias and will never put more than 50% to the back. so MS6s shouldn't feel too superior to us. Still a boat.
