A decade of answering stupid car questions for the ex-wife, you could understand why when she told me she wanted a speed3, I had reservations. This was compounded by the fact she said I think I would look cute in one. She started looking at used Genwons. After the resent failure of @Beach bum, I could not have this epic failure fall on us. Naturally I took it upon myself to sway her into a pu. It's newer, you can pick your color, better rates etc.

Seriously, I'm happy for her and getting a speed. I like the style of mine better but I don't hate on the pu's they are still way better then most cars out there in this class.

Surprisingly she car drive well too so. It's a fit. She will make a fine pu owner.

The fiance's never driven mine because she can't do manual transmission for long periods of time since she broke her ankle and they put the plate and three screws in it, and she definitely can't do the stiff clutch we have. Hatchbacks aren't really her thing anyway. On the plus side though, I think I've almost got her talked into an FR-S when they come out since they have a paddle-shift trans option. Seems like it should corner really well.

Usually I am right there with her but that night was the exception... I was working w/ fiberglass and was needing some smokes so I sent her to get them. When she drives and I ride with her in the car its more like..... "are you fucking serious? Don't you ever shift at 3200 rpms again!" So needless to say she is lucky if she drives it 3 times a year.
