Think I might have found a good deal need some opinions.

So I've been searching a few days for a replacement for my now totaled 2012 Civic Si. The 2010 above seems like a decent deal. The car fax looks very clean just no pictures of the engine bay so I'm not sure if it's been modded but the outward appearance looks good. I'm going to call the dealer tomorrow to ask for some pictures of the engine. If it still looks alright I'm thinking about going to test drive it next weekend and put it through the used car tests in the initial PM that I received upon registering. I'm thinking trying to offer 12K OTD if all goes well.

How much is peace of mind worth it to you? Knowing the full history of a car? Knowing the little things that have been done to it over the years? You don't get that with a dealer, chances are they picked it up at auction with any number of issues. I wanted to buy an MS3 through a dealer too once.

I ended up buying private and found an unmolested 3 for the right price, with a clean history. No shenanigans.

What does a flight and a cross country trek go for lately?
