Trust me, it works well, and you'd have to tear the oil pan off to hit the valve with our engine layout. It's also basically impossible for it to open on accident, and you can even wire it closed if you're worried.

So not gonna lie, just bought this with all the bells and whistles. Do i want a nipple? I fucking love nipples! Do I want your hose? I always want the hose!
The last time I went to change my oil I moved the collection pan towards the back of the car to what I thought was a reasonable distance. NOPE the oil shot out like a cannon and all over my garage floor.

You want the nipple at least, the hose you can always source later. You would still have the spurting issue if you don't get the one with the nipple so you can attach the hose.
