Took my genpu to the track for the first time
 

Well i did better than i thought... i spun bad and deffinetly need to order my jbarone rrm now...lol. Ran a consistant 14.00. I am pretty happy about it though being my first time at the track with it. next time around im borrowing my buddies slicks and should have a rrm by then. heres a small video.

Nice job, I ran a 14.1 @ 100 my first time out with the car. Only mods were synthetics and weighted knob at the time. Was hot too, I know with more practice and cooler temps I can get into the 13's with no other mods. I just need to get used to launching a FWD car more. I usually run my other car, a RWD Camaro which has some 500+ passes under it's belt so far.

Not bad. With a better launch you should be able to run mid to high 13's. What rpm did you launch at? What was your 60ft time? I'm hoping to get to the strip soon, I just need a helmet and a friday night to make it happen.

nice man, didn't know you were in PA/Pittsburgh area, that's my home track as well. once I get a few things done to my car I'd like to take it down there, maybe we can meet up some time at the track!

Yeah im thinking if i didnt spin as much i could atleast get to a 13.8-13.9 with no problem. I mixed up my launch rmp from like 2000-3000rpm. my 60ft time on that pass was 2.2389 and 1/8th mile was 9.1502.

I was running a pontiac gto in that video... not sure what it had done but it moved!

robry- deffinetly hit me up sometime whenever you go down... its a fun time. i only live like 45min away from the track. Im from sidman... about 10 minutes out of johnstown.

nice man, didn't realize you were in jtown, I'm in Ligonier, but work in Johnstown.

Probably won't get a chance to go until October or next spring, seriously that busy the rest of the summer/fall.

Same here man. i work nights and wont have another thursday night off for awhile. There having a sport compact shootout up there friday sept 2nd that id like to try and go too.

thats an awesome run. my first time i did a 14.4 @98mph for my best time with just a TP TIP and CAI. haven't had a chance to make it since i installed all the new mods yet. but maybe when it cools down more. probably mid to late september
