Hello, I am a new to the Forum and have a 2011 MS3 I would like to do some light mods on, but the only problem is that I live in Providence RI and I am not sure what shops/garages are near me that can install the mods and help with the Cobb AP tuning. I have bought some Auto-tech internals and a CS stage II SRI TIP as my first mods. Any suggestions for shops in the RI/CT/MA area would be helpful. Thanks

Contact your local NATOR sections. No reason to pay to install those kind of bolt-ons when you can have someone help you out.

I just bought a mazdaspeed 3 about 10 months ago and I had never worked on my car before. (other than changing a tire).

Being brand new to this I was still able to install the majority of my modifications. The only thing I didn't install myself was my downpipe and autotech internals. And I'm sure if I had some help, I would have been able to do those as well.

Just got a rear motor mount from the for sale section here (need ViP status for that, donate)

Ordered a Cobb access port and Cobb intake through a local shop, I can give you their details if you PM
Me.

I did the installs myself, mount was about an hour, did it at the same time I changed my oil. The intake was maybe 20 minutes. It takes about 20 minutes to flash your car with the access port. I'm sure this place will install the shot or you if you want though.

Yeah what this guy said, your better off with an e-tune
No Mazda specific places around us.

Wicked specializes in subarus and hondas, they have done some minor power and suspension mods on mazdas

These guys are Evo gods, they have an AWD dyno
dont know anything else about them

Thanks for the information. I need to wait a couple months to do the mods. Its nice to see a few more guys from RI here.

Translation: "My wife/girlfriend found out what my plans were, so I have to spend the next few months convincing her that I need to mod and/or figuring out a way to order and install mods without her noticing".
