Had my ebay catless on my One for nearly two years and there isn't a crack on it, getting ready to throw it on my Poo. Going dp into stock cbe for the sleeper approach but man do I miss the sounds od my rapebuilt mani, ebay catless, magnaflow cbe exhaust. Everyone that heard my exhaust said it was the most unique sounding MS3 they heard.

But I'm def sticking with magnaflow cbes. It was tame and dronefree when cruising but sounded nasty when WOT.

I just installed a UR cbe. I can make a go pro of before and after with a testpipe. My test pipe should be going back on either tomorrow or friday.

I was finally able to get some before and after videos. The first video is just the UR CBE, the second is the CBE with a test pipe. These videos are only cruising around. The most I get on it is up to 4000rpm. I'm in the middle of a maf cal and was told to drive easy. With the stock downpipe and UR test pipe, there is definitely noticeable drone. My JBR dog bone seems to make it even louder. I'll make a video of the interior later tonight and post it. I like my shit loud and obnoxious, so I am seriously debating the UR catless DP just as a rice mod haha.


@CWP_MS3; I know its been two months, but I hope this helped if you were still undecided.

Got my Ebay Catless Dp installed this weekend, now i got 3 CEL codes... already ordered this

O2 Bung & Plug Combo, SAVE 15%!!! - O2Bungs.com

i have to plug the current o2 bung and weld a new one that sits right on the pipe, not extended like the one it has right now, lets see if i can find somebody that can do this without taking the DP off.....

Let me know how that goes. I was considering having mine welded. I finally turned off my low voltage code and then got one later that day that said 02 sensor malfunction. I don't really give a fuck, but I hate CELs.

Im anal about cels, specially on a new car... plus the car is not running right, on WOT sometimes i feel fuel cuts..Dont want to ZZB...


I will show this picture to my guy and see if he can do it, This is atvfreek; picture, he said they did it without removing it, if i cant find anybody to do it while installed then i will probably buy a catted one from CS.....

Why the fuck are you getting fuel cut? The rear O2 only reads the efficiency of the catalytic converter. It doesn't have an effect on AFR's. AFAIK.

I dont know for sure, havent Logged anything.... Maybe im just being paranoid... i heard that the malfunction of the rear 02 sensor causes the car to run shitty sometimes sending more fuel sometimes sending less fuel... i have P2096 P0137 P0139

Idle is 29.3.. running goes to 14... is that normal?

Edit: 29.3 is between shifts for like half a second idle is 14 to 14.5

I think your afrs should be around 14.7 at idle. The guys who know more about tuning can help you better, but I think your running a tad rich at idle.

Im catless and running a Stratified OTS stage 2 map for the JBR intake 93 oct, but i was running really lean after I installed the intake and Lex helped me out and took that map, did a MAF calibration and sent it back to me and that`s what im running right now.

Now your running rich lol.. I'm pretty sure those ots maps are not intended for a catless dp. You need a regular cat or high flow cat. You will need to get a map made for you, most likely, before you do anymore wot pulls. Do you get plumes of black smoke out of your exhaust?

Nop, i don't get any smoke at all (that i know of), i always look back and don't see any, I only have like 3k miles on it right now, probably since is almost new that helps, i will take it easy on the car from until i start the tuning process and get an adequate map for my setup.
I`m only awaiting on the 02 and the bung, after that i will have teh fazst!

is it really that bad for the car to run rich like that? cause i don't know if i can wait until Friday driving my car like grandma...

You dont need a special map for a catless DP. OTS maps are fine for catless as long as your maf cal is fine. The ECU will adjust to reach the target AFR's as needed within the allowable parameters which is why its so important to have a good MAFcal.

You may be hitting boost limits which would cause throttle close. Likely, you will need to adjust your WGDC's to account for the DP.

Target idle afr is 14.7, at 14-14.5 youre within an allowable fluctuation range. Time to log.....

The car will run fine with the extended bung but it will throw a few codes. As long as you're not in an emissions area just un-select the codes in ATR. The only time I was throwing codes to begin with is during cruise, and some of that was to do with my lean burn strategy. Other than that the rear O2 functions as it should.

You can't beat the pu.... especially not with a hatch that looks like it was styled by honda... genjuans will never learn.

I know. I love mah pu and would take it over any MS if it had AWD.

I do like juans, but I don't think they look as aggressive, and I love my bluetooth.

The genjauns are just meh at best (inside & out). I have thought about an AWD conversion but F' that... Considering trying to find a lower mileage MS6 for my next DD (wife will get the MS3) if I don't get a truck instead.

I like juans, and I like the GT seats, but I like pupu's body lines and aggressive curves better.

And AWD conversion is unrealistic for most.

Yeah, we were going that route but so far it hasn't worked out, I keep spending to much money and she just took a job with less hours so looks like I'm going to have to build myself a Su-Raptor. Wanting to get a very clean 06-07 F350 6.0 powerstroke lariat or king range, bulletproof it, throw a larger turbo and injectors at it and then a 4.5" Carli suspension system with 37's

She doesn't want a Raptor at all, I don't think. lol Or she probably thinks they're cool but way too big. IDK, she likes lame cars. Haha.
