Ultimate Racing TP - Hardwarewtf??

I just put my UR test pipe on today and just want to see if this issue happened to anyone else. Everything went super smooth since the car is only a few months old. But the bolts that they provide a WAY to long. The bolt from head to tip was about 3 or so inches long with the threads only being about 1-1.25 inches in length. The only way it would have worked would be to stack tons of washers which I would not have wanted to do. Luckily I was at the shop I work at so we had some spare nuts and bolts and it worked out. But I am not sure what UR was thinking. Also the crush donut gasket is a little weird since it cracks and what not but it sealed fine. Anyone else have this issue? The fit and finish of the pipe is very nice, only have this one issue.

Did you put the springs back on like the stock configuration? Best bet when it doesn't seem that you received the correct hardware is to reexamine your install.

Didn't even think about that... I couldn't find any instructions for them. I guess I will have to put it up in the air and put the spring bolts on. Just worried that I will now break the seal of the gasket... I may just keep it like this. Read on here that a few people had to tighten the springs all the way to get it to seal properly so I don't think that it should be a big deal unless someone else chimes in. Stock spring and bolts were used for the DP TO TP connection.

Don't worry about breaking the gasket seal. It should be resilient enough. If you don't get that done today, we can do it tomorrow.

I left the bolts at work of course.. I am not going to worry about it right now. I have access to lifts every day so one day after work I will put the springs on those bolts and get it squared away. I am guessing the gasket crushed weird since I tightened the shit out of the bolts. I will probably call UR and grab a new gasket to be safe. But I will show you tomorrow and see what you think.

Happen to me as well. My tech has to use either the oem bolts or he found some that work. I was little irritated too, if it didn't get installed due to the long bolts.
