Question Ultra-Gauge on/off settings?

I have the newest version of Ultra-Gauge and I cannot decide on the best settings for auto ON and auto OFF. There are different modes. I currently have it set up for the recommended mode for 2012+ Mazda 3s because of a flaw they found in some 3s where the ECU would still provide some power to the OBD port and cause the gauge to be a power drain. I am not sure if I need to use this setting or not, but I do not want the chance of power drain either. The issue is that since the modes I have chosen sense voltage and engine run/off the gauge is overly sensitive and sometimes goes on or off at strange times right after start up. Plus sometimes it will not fully shut off at ignition off unless I re-cycle the key. I had it at default for the longest time with no issues, but I have also not let my car set long enough without starting for it to really run down my battery (if there is an issue). I know I can adjust these settings (fine tune voltage, etc.), but I lack the time most days to mess with it.

So, what are you guys with Ultra-Gauges and Gen 2 Mazdaspeeds setting yours at?

Thanks.

BTW, my Mazdaspeed is a 2013.

Default

I've never messed with the auto on/off setting so I guess that means I'm using the default mode. I've never had an issue with it not turning off after I turn off the car. Been using mine for over a year now and I haven't had any problems.

Default

Thanks. I think I might go back to the default settings. I just changed them because my car sat for over a week during Thanksgiving and on Tuesday the battery was dead (hadn't been started for 9 days). Of course, my car sat on the dealer lot for over a year. 'Speeds do not sell well here in WV. I believe I got the last one brand new on a dealer lot (got it in April of this year).
