Viper 2 Way Pager Alarm in a 2012 Speed3 Tech Hey MSF. Recently got a 2012 CWP Speed3 with tech and am loving the hell out of it. Tried searching the forums for an answer but couldn't come up with an answer, but wanted some thoughts/opionions. I'm looking to get a Viper 2way pager alarm (no remote start, just the paging) put in the car but I'm not 100% sure how it would work on a speed3 with tech, given it has keyless entry/ignition on the factory remote. I'm assuming I'd have to carry two remotes, but which remote would engage/disengage the locks on the car? Anyone have any experience with the Viper to share? What alarms do you guys have put in your speed3s with and without tech, and how are you liking it? Any ideas about other paging alarm systems? Thanks |
don't have any clue about viper alarms but if you're worried about the car being stolen and you plan to mod at all an AP will allow you to use a map that disables the ignition. If you're going to mod you've got to have one anyway. |
Where do you live where the factory alarm isn't sufficient? Sent while Zoomin' |

Aftermarket alarms make a mess of things. New cars are hard to steal due to the ignition key recognition chip. I wouldn't install one in a car like this. Also don't use the club :) |
You will need a Mazda door trigger module or a talented installer for the alarm. the keyless will be on the viper remote. Remote start will require a expensive part. the viper system will also come with a built in Turbo timer. look for a mecp certified installer. viper lifetime warrantys the main unit to. |
If you have genwon, no one will want to steal your boring mazda 3 hatch or just park next to integras and they will grab the attention of car thieves |
