Or so he thought, as I was exiting the freeway, there is a stop sign about halfway down the ramp. I slow and stop just as black on black GTI rolls up as I take off, I saw him speeding down the ramp to catch me so I knew it was on. I slow down to let him get to my rear door then I floor it, as I pulled away more and more I was fucking laughing inside at this douchnozzle, as he despertly tried and failed to catch me. He followed me for a minute until I slowed again, he put on he blinker and turned .........damn. I'm 46 and I love this car.

I don't even get excited for GTi's anymore. They never want any of this shit.

I did however race a Golf R which was much more satisfying.

Im sure, but it was my first tussle and I didn't know what he had under the hood. I was just amazed how fast I pulled away and all I have is the stock tune. Intake and internals are on the kitchen counter and are going in after I eat.

I'd like to add to this. I didn't think it was worthy of starting a new thread. Has anyone had experience with v8 camero, newer body style? I'm confident on two occasions that my car either hung with or pulled slightly ahead from a stop. And how does are car do with a 350z? I haven't had the opportunity to try that car. Just wanting to know my limitations on a stock 2012 speed3.

New V8 Camaro and 350Z are both much faster cars by the track and performance tests. It would have to be a bad driver to lose to a stock MS3. A V6 Camaro would be challenging enough for a MS3- as even that is faster according to performance numbers. There are a few factors- driver, from a stop, from a roll, etc.

you should be able to pull a 350z I ran a 350z with intake and exhaust and pulled on him and I was bone stock then.

So I'll consider myself a relatively good driver then. ;)

My brother had a v6 Camaro for a rental one time, I just had a Sri and pulled 2 cars on the highway.. From a dig they feel pretty strong though
