Wider tires would require a fender pull once I get my coilovers on, althoug next time i purchase tires I may go with a 235. I'll get pics up tomorrow, it's just too dark out now. They are privat akzent's...not the best but they look nice and should be fine until I can save up for a set of some mazdaspeed wheels like that one dude was selling not to long ago. | |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score with a 235 or 245 it certainly would, even with the 225 it looks like i'll need at least a small roll once I get the coilovers on. When it's all said and done I'll make a new thread regarding clearance/ rolling and shit. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score a.) 19's are dumb anyways. Enjoy having zero traction from a dig and dodging potholes all day. b.) Others have ran 245's on 18's without rubbing, so unless you oversize your tires, you should be fine... which means gumband tires.. which further proves point a. c.) I'd be nicer to you if you didn't come in here, ask for advice, then bend over and take it for some chump change. It's insulting to know you ignored our advice after soliciting it and if you think you got some kind of deal, you're wrong. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Actually @silentwolf8 had to roll his fenders because he's running 245's on a 9.5, he's still on springs. All of y'all are getting so butthurt about what other people do to their cars. Fender rolling is not the end of the world and is most common for anyone who wants to run wider rims. The rears of the genpus are really not that hard, they are not like your typical rear fenders and it will feel like two pieces of metal coming together. Just roll the lip flat against the edge of the fender and you'll be fine.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I like the look of a car that is hammered, but a 9.5 inch wheel is a pretty aggressive fitment compared to what most guys are running. The 2 different camps form vs. function came together in 1 thread and we all got confused. lol |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Geez you guys are getting up in arms over nothing. So what if he got cash instead of brand new wheels. For all of the huffing and puffing most of you do over "function > form", you're getting pretty pissed over some pretty minor scuffing 100% form related. Sounds like the company did right to me by reimbursing him some cash. With that said, yes, those tires don't fit right and this would all be moot with a 235 or a 245.

BTW, it doesn't matter to me either way... like the post above me, if you are happy, that is all that counts. You did request opinions though and there are no shortage of those here. LOL |

Clearly the buyer was happy with what they gave him as a refund, otherwise he wouldn't have taken it. Depending on the amount, I'd probably do the same thing too. You can always get them powdercoated later if the finish gets worse...
