Traced the wires, and found that they are connected to a bigger set of wires. It's held in place by a plastic strap, and masking tape. >.<

Yeah, that's a dealer-installed ripoff POS security system thing. I told them I didn't want it when I bought my car but the base part was still there minus the wires. Pissed me off that they put holes in the bottom of the dash to mount it.

Cut the wires and see what happens.

Dealer installed aftermarket alarm system. I had that in my car when purchased the car and dealer wanted 400 to keep it activated. I told them 100 bucks take it or leave it.... They said no and deactivated it. LOL So I ripped the whole thing off including the brain leaving 2 screw holes under my dash. Assholes
