Yea I know that's why I wanted to see his logs of it. If he is running a stage one map he should be hitting close to that. I'm thinking it's like 15.5 and then down a little in hot ass Florida.

It just names them "datalog1, datalog2, datalog3" etc... So the last ones on the list are the newest. I always clear them off when I bring them onto my computer. I also name and date them, especially when I was sending them to Rob for my tune. Because I was doing MAF calibration and WOT logs, I'd name them accordingly. He didn't ask me to do that but I'm sure it made it a little nicer than just having "datalog1, datalog2" all the time.

Threw on some shitbox ebay rims and tires to see how they fit.. My buddy bought them for his RX7 and but about ten miles on them before blowing his motor. Said he'd sell them for $400. They're wide enough to put on 245's, which is why I'm considering them. They're "VSR" rims and "Primewell" tires, no I know they're good.

All things considered, I actually like how they look...

Did you leave the emblems on when you dipped them? I left the Mazda emblem on the car when I dipped it. I took the mazdaspeed3 emblem off the car but haven't dipped it. I think I may just leave it off. I haven't found the right kind of adhesive yet. I saw some glue that some guys were using but I don't want anything that could damage the paint if I wanted to pull it off again.

This.
I try to keep the last two sets of logs on the AP, and when sending them over to Justin, or simply saving them to my PC, I will name the csv log files accordingly. For instance: if I do a idle log I'll simply name it "Idle Log - Revision X - First Name, Last Name." Where X represents the revised tune map.

Also, to stay on topic, I gave her a quick washing after it cooled off yesterday evening ( Instagram ) and flashed the latest FREEKTUNE revised map.

Yeah I just have too many lol. and when i bring them onto the computer it confuses me. Ill do new ones if i go somewhere today. Was going to while i was out earlier, but left my AP on my desk at home

Got my Maisonvi knob in the mail today. Holy shit is it heavy! Love the way it sits a bit lower compared to stock. Basically eliminates my need for a short shifter. Haven't driven with it yet but will do that in a minute. Just finished a run. uploadfromtaptalk1403906644768.jpg

I saw that number somewhere else that seemed cryptic. I don't always keep up with internet lingo and memes.

Least I fucking searched first.

I saw some glue that some guys were using but I don't want anything that could damage the paint if I wanted to pull it off again.
yep i left them all on except for the front emblem. I taped off the Mazdaspeed 3 and the emblem in the back and dipped them while on the car and as to the fron i took the mazda emblem off (you can pop it rite off but some force has to be applyed) and then i dipped the inside part white and the emblem itself black so it could pop out more on my white car. I think that way is much easier than to remove the emblems and then reglue them..
Im not sure what adhesive to use if i was to use any but ive seen some cool MS3s with no mazdaspeed 3 on it and the emblem was cut and turned into a pretty cool looking " M " on the rear. Use your creativity lol

Yeah I pulled my front emblem off to dip it. It just seemed like it would be hard to get the dip out from between the little letters on the speed emblem. I think I like just having it off now. Thanks for the reply.

A neat trick I used was in order to get the dip out of the small letter I used a wooden skewer like the ones u use for BBQ meats and veggies. Doesn't scrape the car and it's point is good for starting the peeling process and if anything use the skewer to peel anything extra off.
No problem man. Anything else just let me know and I'll help if I can

Toothpick might also work.

Flashed a new FREEKTUNE revision to my ECU and pulled some WOT logs for Justin tonight.
Gotta' widen the holes in the bottom of the battery box tomorrow to make a little more room for the 3" CS Power Series intake. ECU wires are a little too close to the pipe for my liking.

With the mazdaspeed off and on a good flat surface it ends up going between the letters fine. I didn't even use the toothpick although I only put on a light layer

Internals are easy. Who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to point the genjuan's valve cover recirc tube at the EGR?

yah that was definitely the worst part. i unhooked the hanger on the res but not the back one. ended up getting it out after wrestling with it for like 20 minutes.

did a quick test drive and not much noticeable difference in cabin but i didn't get on the throttle much yet. had my friend rev it for me and it does sound deeper outside the car. i like it. next up i'll probably do res delete and call it good on exhaust mods.
