I said wrinkle because it is usually thicker and won't show scratches. But if it isn't a rattle can you are probably right and it will be pretty durable. I just assumed you were an everyday normal rattle can schmuck!

^no, all the pipes were prepared properly, then I used a proper 2 pack etch primer, followed by 2 pack black with a flattening paste in it to take the shine off it.
I painted in the spray booth whilst doing a car that you can't see in the pic.

Gah, must stop buying wheels. Just picked up these Enkei RP03's in 18x8 +40, with 245/45 tires. Thought I was getting 245/40, but oh well. Barely, jst barely rubs in one spot. And only in reverse, and at near full crank.

At least I don't have to worry about curbing these, unlike my 18x8.5 grids with 235/40...

How did it turn out? Did you use the Eastwood roller? Any tips?

I plan on doing mine very very soon to make more room for my new wheels. I haven't put them on yet because I know I'm going to have clearance issues...

And I washed my car and took a few pics today:

Not really sure what kind of fender roller it was...my buddy bought it home from work. It came out great, really smooth, and no more rubbing issues.

I didn't think it needed to be rolled at first, but the springs have settled, and on the way down to Atlantic City this weekend, I made spaghetti strips out of the tires. I originally thought I would have just enough to clear the fenders......I thought wrong.

But, the way that we did it was, I went back and forth with the heat gun on high, got it nice and hot, and then followed him while he was rolling back and forth. Took us about 3-5 mins of slow rolling once it was nice and hot.

Btw, your car looks fucking sexy @ahfunaki

But, the way that we did it was, I went back and forth with the heat gun on high, got it nice and hot, and then followed him while he was rolling back and forth. Took us about 3-5 mins of slow rolling once it was nice and hot.

Btw, your car looks fucking sexy @ahfunaki
Nice, that looks like the same roller I'll probably end up using.

Did you just do the back? I know the fronts are already kind of rolled from the factory but I wouldn't mind doing it just for piece of mind.

Any issues with anything cracking?

And thanks!

@ahfunaki

I didn't do the fronts, the drop there is minimal so I didn't bother. No issues with cracking, just keep the heatgun at least 8" away and keep going back forth slowly. If you have help, have them follow you while you roll. Good luck.

I got bad gas again from BP so now they can go suck a dick. I just filled up with 2 gallons of e85 and the rest 93 octane and once again have 0 knock.

@phate told me BP was good on the east coast and usually garbage in the Midwest. So
I tried shell. Then my car started to knock on a very mild timing increase on shell and @rfinkle2 said to change gasoline brands so I went back to BP and I am knocking now on OTS timing values. I'm getting ready to abandon all hope for IL gas and email Rob and say "let's do this e85 mix tune so I can stop knocking from shitty IL 93 octane"

I would imagine that you are glad I didn't add additional timing when you asked me to.

Catch me a log when you get a chance.

I'm not all that worried about seeing KR that high on occasion, BUT, if it persists we can address it.

Hate to say it guys, but E85 FTMFW.
