Talking about tuning - I need to adjust my Idle but that requires more savvy than I have right now. I just installed my Cobb tune threw MY AP today and all I did was scroll threw to what most fit my current set up and dumped it on the car. I dont know about all that other stuff lol

What are the gages?

Haha yea. It's a work in progress. You gotta take that whole vent out so you can hide the wires by drilling a hole through the upper vent and running them down. It's a glowshift boost and oil pressure

This past weekend I replaced clutch and flywheel with the luk/fidanza combo added a grimspeed ebcs, made my own boost tubes and ricirc hose using verocious and vibrant hose, and replaced the brake fluid with ATE 200.It was a very busy weekend.

JBR Rear Sway Bar

Finally got to go for a drive with those new parts installed. Love it. The springs ride really nice - They're stiff, but hard bumps are soaked up very well. I can't wait to hit some corners!

Installed Corksport Downpipe and Test Pipe, but threw a p0171. After clearing it with the AP, it comes back on after 5-15 minutes. I've left it in the garage until my buddy can look at it as I don't want to damage the engine. I have upgraded HPFP, so that shouldn't be the issue. Ugh.

Either an intake/vacuum leak (check all intake, manifold and EBCS/WG connections), or a leak between the downpipe and the turbo, or around the O2 sensor.

I cleaned and lubed my C.S. bpv. I believe it was sticking and causing flutter. Sounds like it should now.

Nope. I just run this during winter because I'm on snow tires and couldn't really use the extra power even if I had it.

Installed some solid shifter bushings in the center console area. I feel they were a waste of money. I don't know how the gen 1 mounts but in my gen 2 mazda had steel inserts in the rubber bushings that ran straight to the chassis and was tight as hell. I was prying the shifter with a flathead to see how much movement it had prior to the install and there was nearly none. Oh well, in they went anyway.
@GEE1989; you should put a grommet where that tube runs through the metal floor board. Don't want that bitch to get cut

I am definitely gonna put a grommet in there. Leaking meth around the exhaust probably wouldn't work well haha.
I was gonna put the aem one where you had the devils own but the aem has like 10 different colored wires running straight from the controller and I couldn't stand looking at that haha. I have the green warning light mounted by the steering wheeluploadfromtaptalk1456614619441.jpg

I added a 1.2 farad capacitor for my amp...straighten out an older install and did some data logging after rebuilding the car...was a great day! Hard to complain about florida weather right now.

Not today but Saturday I pulled my exhaust off and put in some urethane hangers on that Cobb sent me for free. I just put the exhaust on a few weeks ago. Lol. God, those hangers are a bitch! Much stiffer, which is a good thing but they are so much more difficult to put on.

Yesterday.

Pulled out the plugs, gapped them to .026. Did a compression test again, tested 180 - 178 - 178 - 180 wet, which is great news. Threw everything back together and I am actually very glad I re-gapped the plugs. Idling much smoother now.

Later at night my friend and I did a friendly 30 - 80 mph pull, and I dusted his BK2 gen coupe (to try out his new O2 housing we installed). And I heard....crazy after fire between shifts which was kind of awesome. But I think I need to order a different spring for my Tial QR because as cool as it is, I shouldn't be firing gunshots between shifts. I think that's what is causing the backfire, since everything else is sealed and clamped down.

Anyway, 10 hour car day yesterday went well, working on small things on my car, and pain in the ass install on my buddy's genny.

I did that once on one tank of gas(used 87 oct and reflashed to OTS stage 1) I ended up losing way more gas mileage and running super rich. The my buddy in wrx behind me was wondering what the f*ck the smell was lol.

That's probably because your tune was inappropriate for what you were running. You need to retard ignition timing a lot, otherwise you get knock and the ECU dumps fuel. I don't have such problems on my tune. And my gas mileage is the same as it would be on 93.

Yeah I leanered my lesson about not having correct tune for mods. Ended up putting lowering springs and Koni yellows on the following spring, then deemed it too low for Central new york winters.lol

Then bought a 2001 tacoma off road package v6 (5 speed)with 4 inch lift,over size tires and re-geared it.

Seemed like a good idea drop $1000 on Koni yellows and springs, then drop 12k on a truck. (Welcome to my life lol)

Bnr s4, jbr 3 inch intake, 3bar map sensor, jbr ebcs, optima red top.

Not that bad, forgot my creeper so that was annoying.

Fyi, DO NOT use an Ingersoll Rand electric impact to remove studs, it will make your day less fun. I've taken turbos off tractor trailers, im a diesel mechanic, never used pb blaster. Surely it won't help with my car. WRONG

Why did you need to move the ECU? Mine fit in the factory location with the 3" intake. I did finally get the CS battery box though.

Installed a 3bar map sensor lost a bracket bolt, ran over a squirrel, found the bracket bolt, and downloaded another copy of ATR for laptop #2 .
