I believe you are supposed to change it every 25k miles.

As far as the filters being dirty, if it isn't dirty after 20k miles, then it is not doing its job.

When I first got my Corolla, it was obvious to me that the filter had never been changed, because the car didn't smell bad when you first sat down in it, but the second I turned the HVAC on, this horrible odor would come into the cabin. I can still remember that smell. Just like dead...everything.

When I finally got it out, it was obvious it had never been changed in 97k miles. Both sides of the filter were jet black and you could barely even see the top of the filter from all the caked on leaves and garbage.

As soon as I got that bitch changed out, the inside of the car smelled brand new again. Changed it every 10k from there on (it was a lot easier to change than the Mazda3 ones) and it would look similar to above.

Change your freaking air filters.

I change mine every 15k, usually when I notice dust building up on my dash more frequently.

I'll get a nicer shot soon. I just finished putting everything back together, and after a long drive this week the front is covered in bugs. Need to clean that before she can pose for a full frontal lol.

Yup! I only rolled a little, but the more passengers in the car the more I have found out I need to roll them even more!

So I will be rolling them flat when I have a chance hahah, I had 2 others in my car besides me yesterday, and went over a dip, and I almost cried when I heard the rub.

Swapped bulbs yesterday.

New reverse LED tails from VLEDs.

Old on the right, new on the left.

New signals on the left, old on the right

All together (including Triton V3 brake lights on dim)

Still have to install new LED headlights, and map lights require a few mods to fit. Probably do it Sunday.

Those look promising. I was looking into those but don't know the brightness compared to my stock HIDs

I've got the Vleds reverse lights. I still need to order the rear turns and front switchbacks.

Installed a pioneer back up cam, 3700bhs and flush mounted the usb and aux in the ctr console. I put the bt mic in the oem location. Idatalink st wheel controls were a breeze except i had to get at the oem bt modual for a wire. Took 2 hours. Not happy with most of the metra dash kits made lately. They fit like such shit. I prefer ami or scoshe.

Installed Damond PMM and TMM, got a broken in JBR 80 duro RMM... holy shit this is awesome. I'm so upset I never did this sooner. Car feels so damn good and sounds great in cabin. With very little vibes.

Koni Yellows ordered for the rear pair...now to save for the fronts because I'm broke. Please god let this be the end of the clunking finally.

I had to do the same thing, did springs, then rear dampers (driver rear blown) and then front struts when I had the money. I hate doing suspension work, although after taking it apart and putting it back together a few times it becomes pretty easy especially with: How-to: Install Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs

The rear is easy, I'm confident in the rear.

It's the front that scares me. When I did my springs in the front....I wanted to drive this car off a bridge with how difficult it was to remove the front shocks. All the methods to try to remove the fronts, and still managed to kill like 8 hours doing it.

Fronts aren't bad if you loosen the top strut nut a bit before jacking it up. The hardest part is getting the spring compressor right so it doesn't bust you in the face. I plan on a hour per side.

Looks like your top mount is more efficient.

Wut. I just installed some Koni FSD's in all 4 corners last weekend. Yes the rears are the easiest job you can do on one of these cars. And the fronts only took me 30 min or so per side. Idk what you're doing, but I left everything tight up top, took out the bolt on the bottom of the strut bracket, and just hit the spindle (right? I mean the metal surrounding the wheel speed sensor. I think that's considered part of the spindle) with a hammer until the strut popped out. I had to take off the endlinks, but that's it. I didn't think it was too bad...

Just replaced my stock slipping clutch with an ACT 6 puck and ProLite flywheel. Didn't really feel much difference in the petal or the grabby-ness.

But, that was the hardest 2 days of my life!

I wish I could say the same. I had to use a sledge hammer and still didn't want to pop out. Trust me it looked easy until I spent all day trying to break both front sides loose. Eventually I wedged a piece of metal and used that bolt to tighten it back on so it would pry apart the knuckle and only then did it work. Except one of the knuckles got bent a little too far, for which I had to take the bolt and force it back on the knuckle to bend itself back to normal.

Changing the springs was cake, reinstall was cake, but fuck that removal and everything about it.

These reverse lights ain't no joke!

I didn't get any pics of just the LED low beams because I was busy blinding my buddy with all my lights (he's anew 2007 Speed3 owner, being a good noob currently lurking and learning before asking any questions)

I didn't think it was too bad...
same thing here did oranges over the weekend, must be a yankee thing where they salt the hell out of the roads. From what ive read on here i thought it would be a lot harder.
