Busted the cherry on my '13 with a JBR stage 1 SRI. Test pipe/AT internals/tune coming soon. RSB and RMM inserts to follow.

Not going to fuck with TIP/DP for the minimal gains on the K04 and stocking out if needed.

Don't have any money for power mods yet so I started with the Cheap stuff first like painting the calipers and putting heat resistant stickers, kinda ricey but idfaf I like it...

Installed my CS TMIC and Forge V2 BPV. Was a piece of cake except for snapping a screwhead on the coldpipe swapover. Second screw I've broken on the Speed3 (other was on the original BPV when I had it off for cleaning. Wasn't a bitch too get out luckily, and replaced with a SS GR.5 bolt. I'm thinking I might not re-use any hardware in future installs, going with upgrades on everything.

Also found the Re-circ hose to the TIP is a tad too long with the Forge. Hose has a tiny bend, but is not kinked. Might pull it off in the future and cut 1/2" off.

RSB and end links are going on tomorrow.

Coilovers and TBE exhaust (CS downpipe and custom built CBE) going on next Wednesday the 24th.

New shoes should be here by the 26th. Probably going to get a roll done in the next two weeks just in case.

Then an E-tune... and hopefully car will be done!

Changed oil and filter went for Rotella T6 and the usual Bosch filter , inspected driveline and brakes and under car an hood areas. All good.
A little sneaky thing noted the T6 is 4 quarts not 5 like the Penzoil Plat I used prior. Mileage 10.5K now.
Car in severe need of a wash ain't done so in 2 months.

Dude I can see not going with a DP because that is the route I have chosen but at least go with a TIP. It's just an extra hose clamp and that's it. Or at least get a 3" full intake and have almost the same power gains as a DP.

Installed the Corksport Tmm insert, cleaned the pollen out of the engine bay, emptied the occ, washed the car, cleaned the interior, painted the center hub of the wheels (damn lack of Work center caps), and the best of all my left rear tire has a bad belt and is starting to bulge on the inside edge. Time to figure out if its warranty or i have to order something new.

Picked up a GoPro black this past weekend as well so i can use it at Road Atlanta this weekend during parade laps

I might change my mind later, but there's always plenty of people looking to snap up used parts. After taking a couple of rides, I've decided 300whp/350tq is about all we can put to the road in a non RACECAR! setup. This is my DD and I want her to be that way for a long time.

I've seen too many of my friends dump obscene amounts of money on a Stillen 300z TT, LT1 procharged Firebird, etc and they get the boost drunk - gotta know when to say when, imo.

(yes, I'll probably see this thread next year and laugh at myself for falling victim to the same epidemic)

You will not see 300whp/350wtq without a 3" intake or a DP. One or the other needs to happen. And you definitely won't see it unless you get an AP. AP, FP internals, TP, and 3" intake will be all you need for your goals. I don't understand how that is "dumping a bunch of money"???

It's gonna take a 3" full intake and a test pipe to do it though if not getting a downpipe, and that's what he said. Two ways to hit that, 3" intake or dp, pick your route. I went with the first and I'm just about there with the tuning I have in progress.

I'm saying I can get close enough to my goals on 93 octane with 2.25" SRI/Test Pipe/Internals/Tune and stock out quickly and easily. When I replace my factory Dunlops I'll probably got with NT555s 235/40/18, and I'd like to be able to use 2nd gear.

The "dumping a bunch of money" was referring to my friends getting overzealous with their daily drivers, slowly evolving into 625whp regulars at the garage getting repaired. My buddy with the F-body dropped almost $60K into his ride, and while it was great fun at times, eventually he ruined the car.

Not everyone wants to build a racecar.

You dont need dp or 3'' intake with E. I am at around 315/358 with sri/tip, test pipe and 3 gallomns of E.
3" inate/dp/tmic are prob my next mods tho

Didn't do anything to my car but drive it like hell. As usual, but did get to ride in my brothers WRX for the first time since he picked it up a month ago. Not bad, but not a MS3
