I've been running with no shifter weight for three years, and several others have been doing it for as long or longer. This is not a new development.

It quickly becomes a thing when you autocross. Hard braking + bumps throw the shifter weight forward and it pops out of second. Pull that thing off or cut it down, I prefer the feel of it off.

Finally got my tires on my car that I wanted originally- the nitto nt05s. I had the nitto nt555s for the last five days and liked them a lot better than the stock tires but too much tread for me lol. I will post some pictures of both.
I also deleted my countershift weight all together and it feels like it made my heavy shift knob more effective.
The amsoil is running great and I feel like my engine runs a lot smoother. For instance. I can be at 5.5 grand RPMs and if i have my music up, I wont even necessarily notice it. Before it felt like the vibration alone from my engine at that rpm range was enough of an indicator to know.
Supposed to get my how-to polish video in tomorrow and looking forward to getting my car protected. also supposed to get g2 brake caliber kit, my ngk iridium IX spark plugs, my grainger nylon plugs for rear wiper delete, and my V3 access port.
Still holding off on getting the intercooler because I think i may just wait it out till corksport gets theirs back in next month. In the mean time i might mess around with some corksport maps and if I have time do a MAF cal. Really want to get this intercooler soon so I can do an etune.
planning this weekend to do the brake calipers, order some polish/buffering pads, deleting my rear wiper blade, installing my new plugs after i gap the to 0.027, and hopefully get my rear motor mount in.
anywho, here are those pics of both tires.
anyone know wtf that white cap is that's hanging down in one of the pics with my exhaust?

It was custom. I used some bondo and glazing putting. I did a bunch of sanding, primer then spray painted. I'll probably post something in the electronics section soon.

Looks really good IMO. Although the ebrake slightly resembles an uncircumcised penis lol.
Are these the Redline goods?

Slowhatxh, you're right. I'm overly excited about my car and I have no clue what the fuck I'm doing. I have a buddy who used to be a mechanic helping me. That's the only reason why my car has most the upgrades it has. Need to look research what the rear end link is..

Well I can't tell if you're serious or not about what an endlink is... It links your stabilizer bar to your control arm to limit body roll.
