(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Regardless of the dent. I'll get it fixed in the next few days or weeks. Now, what's next? I want to be safe with the mods I install. I'm thinking short ram intake, and a down pipe. My husband is set on getting a blowoff valve, don't get me wrong I like the sound, but I don't think I can rock it. It's not me. And I know I will love what it sounds like but I doubt I will want to keep it. So any of you guys have a blowoff valve? What kind? Do you love it? Regret it? I heard about the fuel pump upgrade before a down pipe. I will be installing some coil overs sometime this year after we get outta this desert. There is nothing but potholes, so I'm waiting till we get stationed elsewhere. But I already set money aside for the some ksport coil overs. So short ram intake, blowoff valve, down pipe. Yay or nay? What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for reading guys! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Driver mod? j/k Skip the BOV - they do sound cool, but the car is designed for a BPV. The OEM valve is fine unless you really turn up your PSI. Don't go DP without fuel pump internals. I'd say right now the best bang for your buck is AP and VIP. Good luck, G

Yea bov to me is so rice.. Like I really don't think I can rock it at all. It's not me. Does it matter what brand of ap to get though? I'm willing do drop a couple g's on the car right now. I just wanna be sure of what I'm doing. I wanna blow all this money on the car but I need to like ask people what they think because I don't want to regret it What if I don't even get a down pipe though? Would I NEED to get a fuel pump? | Not Ranked : 0 score You don't want your hpfp to drop below 1600 psi at wot. With just a Sri I would drop to about 1595psi at least one cell in my logs. With the cbe and a intake you will prolly drop lower. Get internals and a ap next and you will notice a difference in power right away. Donate and buy used intake and possibly even ap. I would by autotech internals new. A lot of people go with dp but everyone says its a bitch to install. I'm just going with test pipe since there is hp gain and easier install. Can be pricey if you buy new, cheap if you buy used...but worth it at any price. 3. No downpipe until fuel pump upgrade. You'll see the term "ZZB" used when referencing modding your car without fuel pump internals...it's an acronym for Zoom-Zoom-Boom, a.k.a. a hole in the side of your engine block. 4. Post nudies. Fuel pump (CPE) or fuel pump internals (auto tech) and an access port should be your first mods really. Unless you're content in leaving just the cat back exhaust. Your "what brand of AP" shows you havent researched about the car much if at all. Forget BOV unless you have bigger mods and get tuned for it. Haylee, you're going to need to learn to have thicker skin around here. There was a culture of ripping on newbies or brownies started a long time ago.
