What would you guys do first?

So I'm pretty much stock all I have is an Intake, and Springs... I'm debating what I should get first, the Cobb V3 Access port for $650.00? or the Cobb DP for $695.00? I'm going to eventually get both, but what would you guys get first?

kby 09-20-2013 10:25 PM

Driver mod.

Jk :) lol I'm sure there are countless threads about said question.

Also varies.... do you do anything..have goals?

Agent_Orange 09-20-2013 10:27 PM

Get the AP, then get internals.

/thread

Turbopenguin 09-20-2013 10:28 PM

I mean, it's not like I'm street racing constantly lol, just want a nice, clean, fast car lol.

I've just been reading and they say the AP makes the car run so much better. I'm just not familiar with it, no one in my area has it.

Thanks agent Orange. Do you think I should spend the extra $100 on the V3?

If you want a V2, just check for sale threads. Cheap as fuck. Your car will only run better with a tune via tuners on this site.

I just got my V3 and I'm loving it....Literally, I'm dry humping it right meow.

Read moar, post less. Installing a DP without internals is asking for trouble. I experienced fuel pressure drop with just an intake after cranking boost up.

Turbopenguin 09-20-2013 10:40 PM

Alright man thanks, I'll buy the V3 $650.00 =0 better be worth it!!:147:

The AP is well worth it. I wrote this article on the matter:

Hoyoman 09-21-2013 03:56 AM

Internals...

SpeedLife 09-21-2013 05:11 AM

Get a ebay DP or ur wayyyyy cheaper lol spend the extra on a rmm

edit: everything in my sig and waiting to be bought and installed was all bought and installed for less than it would cost for the v3 and catted dp from cobb you are trying to buy lol

Pharms3 09-21-2013 05:17 AM

get V2 AP, RMM ~80+ duro or CP-e stage 2, internals, Catless eBay dp or racepipe dont fall for that $700 dp nonsense, and e-tune ull be good to go

obijack 09-21-2013 05:24 AM

A catless down pipe on the k04 will make the turbo's seals fail prematurely.

Quigs 09-21-2013 06:59 AM

Unless you are going for big power, I would go with a catted downpipe. Catless doesn't benefit you at all. Going cheap isn't worth taking away from the longevity of your turbo.

Internals and RMM should be on that first mod list. Internals definitely before downpipe!

IMO, having a high quality catalytic converter is important for just a normal street car. However, you don't necessarily need to pay full price for one. I got my Cobb on the forums brand new for a good deal from a member.

T2J 09-21-2013 09:22 AM

Get mounted yo! I'd get a rmm before both of those mods

What are those??? Lol! Mounts are next on my list. I guess I went backwards:smashfreakB:

memin 09-21-2013 10:17 AM

just search:saroll:

Misfit_S3 09-21-2013 12:29 PM

I don't even have 300 miles on the car yet and I've already done fp internals and a rmm. I also have the apv3 ready to hook up once I get a few more miles on and I've already ordered the JBR Stage II Sri/tip. And I'm sure I'll have a downpipe and a custom tune soon.

StayGold_562 11-29-2013 01:10 PM

I did intake/tip, cbe and tp. Ran like that for 24k miles of hard canyon road abuse. Then i found this forum and signed up a few months ago and found out i needed fp internals and ap and all that. Lol

cyberb0b 11-30-2013 02:48 PM

Does the AP allow the turbo to get more boost in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd? I read it is electronically limited and it's really annoying.
