What are you guys paying OTD for a 2013 i did read the thread about the 2012's but jw the 2013 is any differ planning to buy one in the next week or so, would ike to know the deals you guys are getting had two quotes from 2 different dealers both for non tech models 22,500 and 22,399 with taxes, destination, fees etc..would round up to be around 24,500-25,000 OTD(out the door) its what i estimated to be.. just seeing if its a good deal or should i shoot for a lower one |
I'm not paying anything for a 2013 cuz I drive a 2008 Speed3 :moon: |
buy one w/ tech because those nav screens are dope |
yeah those nav's are nice lookin but im planning to just put an aftermarket, thus having even more features on there and compability |
I just got mine for 26900 out the door with 3.5k of negative equity on my last car. So all in all I was a little over 23k OTD. |
on a 2012 with tech my OTD was 26,375 (taxes and title included). In Denver the tech package was actually easier to find and easier to negotiate I think, demand here was for non-tech. the Lights kick ass, the NAV, well thats pointless (the 2013 screen is a nice refresh) the blind side monitoring is much less of a gimmick than I thought, if you use it as an active system doing stupid stuff in traffic is much simpler, you also get feedback when some jerky is shadowing your blindspot. |
i would of went for a used 2012 for around 22ish OTD but wanted a new 2013 cause of the black finishings and a piece of mind bcause it was new with 3 miles on it, didnt care about the tech. i live in a small city so traffic is usually pretty good |
I wouldn't get one without the tech. I love the features. Although you already said you like the new features of the 2013, I'll still throw out there, maybe you can find a 2012 with tech for the cheap. I got mine with 700 miles out the door, warranty to 100k for just under 24k. Just saying. Good luck! |
The point of saying the "out the door" price is that's the price you paid, final, to get the car out the door of the dealer and into your garage. It includes every single tax, title, license, registration, doc fees, advertising fees, handjob -- whatever you had to do to get the car. Makes it easier to compare. Leaving stuff off is not the out-the-door price, it some other amorphous blob of a price that nobody can compare to. |

Thus I usually compare the price of the car itself, since TTL varies state to state. All that said, when I shopped, OTD price in Los Angeles with tech for 2013 was about 24.9. I found a good deal on used, so I went that route, myself. Just my .02 turkish lira. |
Yep no sales tax here so OTD is totally different. Got my 2011 with 37K with the tech package for 18K. I know your looking into lower miles and newer but The Xenon lights are a must imo so keep that in mind. |
I paid invoice for my 2013 in November. |
I paid $27k OTD on my CWP '13 w/tech in December. I believe according to the sales sheet the car price before everything was $24500. |
2013 non-tech: $22,300 2013 tech: $24,600 Not OTD but still good pricing for new. Good deals to be had due to the redesigned 2014. |

I'm still feeling alright for just gettng a 2012 w/tech, used with 7k miles, only 20.5K. Saw what the new ones were going for, but decided to save some cash. 21.2K OTD as I was miitary exempt from a lot of the fees registering it back home as out of state military. with DP and trade i've got 6K+ in equity on a fairly new car. |
Paid 22700 before TTL for a 2012 non-tech. Send the second dealer's quote to the first and ask them to beat it. In the end, go to the dealer with a better reputation that won't screw you over. Make sure to install an app on your phone for calculating monthly payments. They wanted to give me payments of $20 higher than what my calculator said would be the rate for the APR I was given. Of course, I was able to catch their mistake ("mistake"?) and all was well. |
I paid 23049 OTD for a 2012 CWP with tech, love it. |
Bump. Looking to buy in the next 2 weeks and trying to get a better idea of what to pay! :drive: |
^^ Buy it. Short of 4 door m3, best family car out there. |

FWIW started emailing dealers tonight and have one at $23,825 and one at $24,599. Waiting to hear from others. Both include all dealer fees, and I'll take care of TTL separately. $23,825 quote is throwing in window tint for free, down side is that deal is 180 miles away while the $24,599 dealer is 20 miles away. Quotes are on a 2013 CWP w/ tech. |

I am paying $24,400 OTD for a '13 non-tech (including all TTL) when I move to Seattle at the end of this month. Vehicle sale price of $21,900 w/ 9.8% sales tax. I also got quotes from dealers in Chicago (where I live now) and lowest quote I got for the same vehicle was $23,800 OTD (7.25% sales tax). Even though my company was going to pay to ship the car to Seattle for me, I would have had to pay the difference in sales tax upon re-registration of the vehicle in Seattle, so the prices came out to about the same. Probably not the absolute best price possible, but seems pretty OK to me. |

There is no income tax in WA so the sales tax is higher on everything. And there's even sales tax on Amazon purchases. Womp. :owned: |

Think I payed 27K OTD for a 2012 w/ tech back in feb of last year. The part I hate about Kentucky is having to pay taxes on the car every year along with tags.. But the main reason i wanted the tech package was for the HID's.. hardly ever use the nav. |
If I was looking at a 2010-2012 I'd go non tech probably, but they finally made a good move with the nav screen in the 2013. Don't really care if I use it a lot. Just adds to the :bling: with the HiDs and other stuff. |
Just a little update, hopefully it helps anyone else out. A dealer told me they would beat my best quote and when I mentioned my lowest was 23,825 they said to match it they'd be taking about a 1000 dollar hit. That being said I have several quotes in the 24,500 area so that seems like the max anyone should pay for a 2013 w/tech. Tappa da bass mon |
Might want to run quotes through Truecar as well. My Insurance company (USAA) has a car buying service that goes through truecar and the dealerships will usually honor the prices.. when I bought mine the dealer said that they MUST honor it ( Don't know how much truth is behind that. ) But at least worth a look. Part I found funny about the whole thing is all they said is that you just print out the quote and they'd honor it... They never verified anything.. lol who's stopping anyone from photo shopping a thousand or 2 off the price.. Not to give anyone any ideas.. But just a thought. |
Last time I checked, about a week ago, truecar had a recommended price somewhere in the neighborhood of $25,500, so they seem to be pretty off based on the quotes I've been getting. $25,500 was what I had anticipated paying, so I was pleasantly surprised getting quotes in the $24,500 range and below. |
When we bought our 2012 Mazda 5, truecar was 1800$ more than what I negotiated myself. |
