As far as I see, cars are a perfect outlet for my academic strengths, especially when it comes to tuning. Lotsa math involved :)

i know i'm getting nosy now, but when does a 17 year old kid who has been taking college courses and going to high school simultaneously since the 9th grade, who studies constantly, find time to work to buy mods for his car? i guess if your parents pay for your insurance, maintenance, gas, etc., then you really don't need to work much for a few mods.

man, i wish i had your parents.

in any event, someone with your brains will make enough money by 25 to go out and buy your parents his and hers mercedes so i guess it all works out in the end :shrug:

Well, in addition to doing a lot of math early, I also did a lot of science early, so now - senior year - I've got 3 HS classes and 2 College classes. Which means that at the most, I will have four classes a day. Three days of the week, I go to HS for a class or two, then come home for the rest of the day - during which time I read tuning threads and work on stuff. It's pretty nice :biggthumpup:

I purchased my MS3 when I was 23 (and it will be two years with this car in May). I turn 25 next month.

i was 24 when i "cash for clunkered" my '97 Wrangler Sport and got a 2010 Mazda3s Sport. that was in August 2009. then i turned 25 in January 2010 and my insurance was reduced. so what did i do? i decided to trade in the 3s Sport for the 2010 MS3 on my bday. the money i saved on insurance went into the higher car payment. worked out to be about the same difference (after 5 hours of working out a deal with the dealership).

anyway, just turned 27 and hit 20,000 miles. ordered my new tires this week!

31. I got the 2012 with Tech and picked it up in October of 2011. Had an 08 Infiniti g37 fully loaded with 45k on it. Biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. Couldnt be any happier with the Speed 3.

52. Got it in August 2009 the first one at the dealer. Picked the color from a poster and bought it without test driving it. Just sat on a regular 3 to get the feeling of the seat cabin and views and it was game over.

26 here.

Traded in my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. (over $5k in off-road mods) for my 2011 MS3 last week.
