I've used Icons, RainX's version, Michelin's version, and PepBoy's version. I think price versus performance my choice is the PepBoys. The Michelin's blow, the RainX's seemed to skip on my old base 3 in anything but a downpour, and the Icons are most expensive and last the least amount of time out of the group.

RainX orange windshield washer fluid for the win. The green stuff is good just don't leave it in the car once it gets cold!

for me no matter wich wiper I use the most important thing for my windshield is getting it treated with aquapel (lasts about 6 months) and you can actually drive on the freeway in pouring rain with the wipers completely off.

I had bosh (ok) rainx sucked for me (screeched and jumped so bad I tought my wiper arm had a problem). switched to the michelin and they are doing fine so far. bought them at costco for almost half the price of the rainx.

Rain-x from wally world.

They work fine in a place like So Cal where you mostly use your wipers just to clean your windshield.

I also did the rear wiper delete. Thing was absolutely worthless the few times I did use it. All it did was move the water around and make more of a mess.

It does look cleaner without it.

I used Bosch Icons on my previous cars (Astra and GTI) and my wife's Mazda3 (non-speed) and loved them. Great wipe and quiet. Yeah, they are pricey and need to be changed more frequently but I don't mind paying a few $$$ more for them.

I tried some model of RainX at some point and they were terrible - maybe they've improved but I'm not giving them another chance.
