(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have some money I can start spending again on modding and I am pretty stuck on what I want to do next. Putting the $ toward paying the car off or debt is not an option, nor am I looking to go BT. I'm stuck between getting CO's, or getting Koni Yellows, electronic cut out and some new exhaust tips. My car is pretty much fully bolted with the exeption of a catback due to wanting to keep the noise down in the neighborhood when I leave early or come home late. Is there anything else I'm missing or something you guys would put the money toward as far as mods are concerned? Oh yeah, I also have a brand new set of tires sitting in the garage waiting for the current set to wear out, along with my winter set up. I guess I just can't decide what I will be more happy with between co's and struts, as far as ride comfort and the low's are concerned. Any input appreciated.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score FWIW, the car seems VERY solid even without it. I added some support to the PMM and engine is pretty solid. Would rather not add any more NVH to the cabin if it's not necessary. At this point it doesn't seem like I need it. Even at the track.

I know it is not a well received mod on msf, but I just got the Tanabe strut tower brace and it seems to make the car flatter through fast turns. There is not much difference in regular driving, but when cornering fast, I think it makes a pretty substantial improvement. The bars can be had for around $120.00. I noticed a post by JTMS3 on another forum and he and I share many of the same mod opinions. He said he saw an improvement, so I bit and am glad I did.

This is of course based on speculation but I've been mulling over the idea as of late. Oh and @OP - Tires!

Are you doing drag or track time? I'd say put some money towards an instructor if you've got the means to burn..you'd be surprised how much you'll learn. And if that isn't your thing..would you even consider a lesser BT such as a BNR3? You could really pick up a lot that way..otherwise you're kinda "done" heh time to enjoy it.

An instructor would be a great investment, since I drag race more than anything. However I'll be needing new dampers soon either way, hence the CO's vs the Yellows.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Forgot about dampers, obviously you know your choices, for specifically drag- Yellows would be completely adequate. I started on Bilsteins+CS springs and while they were one of my favorite mods, I wanted adjustability. And ultimately sold that setup and upgraded to MS Coils and I absolutely love them.

Only reason I want co's is so I can go a hair lower. I could probably sell my swifts for a couple hundred and have a similar investment while having adjustable dampening and ride height. But on the other hand, I could have better handling and also have a few extra hp with the cut out plus get rid of the hideous oem exhaust tips. I tend to over think every purchase I make, but the good thing is I don't regret ANY mod I have done so far. Just want to keep it that way.

I would go bilsteins over the konis.. I know for me (and some others) the rear went a lil lower after the bils were installed...the fronts can be made to go lower if you cut or bend the stopper tab and let the strut slide all the way down till it hits the knuckle bolt (similar to how OEM is) ...Maybe this will solve the "hair lower" problem? .. I'm seriously in love with mine, especially after my custom alignment.. If you want CO's and on the budget the only two I would consider are the KW 1 and H&R's. As far as sound.. I like my UR.. Gen2 are harder to make sound good...but the UR does a good job without making it obnoxious... Maybe you can do try cutting out the resinator if you haven't done so already. As far as power, you have done pretty much all the "cheaper" stuff. All I can think of is a 3 inch intake. edit.. Almost forgot...I know this isn't what you were thinking of ..but cpe- stage2 rmm and TWM full replacement shifter does wonders on how the car feels. Upgraded stock style rmm just isn't all that good after you feel the different cpe stage 2 makes.. And comparing an SSP to the TWM is a joke. It's not even a comparison.

I'm with the TWM full replacement. It is awesome. I can't tell a difference since I drive with it everyday and it's been 6k since I switched. But I drove a buddies genjuan the other day and holy fuck. The shifts are a mile
