Anyway F all that "be respected" BS. I like being unasuming these days. And when you rape a WRX the first time you will smile. Make no mistake this car is not "rice" unless you make it "rice". There are some very nice MS3's on this forum. As far as launching from a dig, you also must realize that the stock tires are absolutley horrible. Not that it's an excuse for fail wheel drive but they don't help either. Do some searching on here, I know these cars are better out of the hole than what you read in that fish wrap. However like it was said. 3rd and 4th in this car are nasty, hell even 6th pulls hard. It's a solid car, FWD or not. You must must drive one first. period end of story. If you donated you could probably hook up with some PA Nator, Someone close by may hook you up if there is no dealer available? Just a thought.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm a little biased but I love my 2013 velocity red speed3! And everyone I knew asked if I went color blind because red is my least favorite color of all! This car makes every drive fun. Its comfortable and sporty. Not good from a dig but it pulls hard from a roll! Just my 0.02 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2 |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'det you drive mine but I'm too far away... If you drive it you will know.. It's an awesome little car... I wish it was awd.. That's my only complaint... My first fwd car... But.. I'm happy with it.. I have always had black cars for the most part but my ms3 is red... It seems a little easier to keep clean.. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Forum Runner

| Not Ranked : 0 score 1. Stop comparing the ms3 to an srt8 300.. The 300 is a BOAT and the general feel of the ms3 will be very rewarding compared to the 300. Apples to oranges. 2. With minor bolt ons and a good tune you'll be pulling srt8's from a roll in no time. 3. You seem really concerned about 0-60 times... If that's the case then maybe you should go with the wrx.. no one on here bought a ms3 so they can snap knecks at every stop light/stop sign. It's an all around GREAT car.. Shit it even puts better times down around a road course then a wrx. Just my $.02 Plus a wrx is a dime a dozen now days

| Not Ranked : 0 score I bought an '09 WRX new... 3.5 years later I now have a 63k mile '08 MS3 I prefer the MS3 in almost every way except drive wheels. In particular the WRX's shifter was the worst part. Miss shifts and gears sticking under hard acceleration was common. The clutch release and throttle were also cumbersome and sometimes made grocery runs a chore. I got in this MS3 on the first day I drove it and it felt like I'd owed it for years. Very easy to drive. The WRX's factory tune(unless they've changed recently) was complete shit. I saw some dyno graphs that looked like mountain ranges, very inconsistent power. The AP makes a HUGE difference but thats a $600 part just to make it how it should have been from the factory. That said the WRX was fast and pulled hard to redline when the power was smooth.

| Not Ranked : 0 score OP - Are you actually planning to drag race, or are you just using the numbers as a point of reference? The MS3 isn't terribly quick off the line, but has plenty of power. If you look at 1/4 mile times, you'll see that although a car like the WRX posts a faster E.T., the trap speeds are almost the same. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score IMO, you want high 12's you need to start with a different car that is intended for that type of use, such as a new 5.0. Hell, it probably only requires a driver mod.

Here in South Africa, we consider ourselves lucky if we can run under 15 in a stock 3 MPS (Mazdaspeed). Born in the wrong country, I tell ya.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

You neglected to mention the extra storage space with the seats folded down - you can fit a 60" LED TV with no probs ^.- - how many can do that in their sport cars?? =P

| Not Ranked : 0 score I was under the same debate about getting a new wrx or a ms3. I had a 1st gen mz3 hatch and loved it.. I took a buddy's genpu for about 30 minutes one day and test drove a wrx. The ms3 handled better, pulled harder, interior is better, and gets better mpg. I also live in a winter area that I wanted awd. The money I saved on the speed allowed me to pay cash for a 4wheel drive truck for winter and camping. I have loved every single mile in the speed, it is freaking awesome! And, I wrx hatch (wide body) blew past me on the freeway the other day and got on the on ramp, so I got behind him, and that thing was leaning like a ford high boy around the on ramp (it's almost a complete 360 turn I take daily). I wasn't even pushing it and he was giving it his all, then when we straighter out we both pinned it, I was able to go AROUND him! We both dropped gears again on the highway and the speed easily pulls it! I really like the wrx, but am pleased with my purchase everyday for the above reasons I mentioned! Such a awesome car for the price! And like other said, I didn't get it to drag race, but to rip around town and take turns!
