Hey, this is something i used on my e30 (89 BMW 325is) we used a spray used for stain glass, u can pick it up at any arts supply place. I have never used it with HID's so idk if te heat will have an effect on it. But I've used sylvania ultra on my e30 with the spray and never had an issue. I might just get the ultras for the speed3 so I don't have to worry about mounting ballast in the bumper. Let me know what you guys think

I couldn't take a pic with the lights on, the iPhone camera doesn't pick it up well but it's yellow 100% n looks good

nextgenerationx1 09-11-2011 03:40 PM

hmm i see corksport has LED fogs, maybe i'll get those instead of the ultras since they don't generate a lot of heat

etchv10 09-11-2011 03:42 PM

It actually looks good..... But I always tell people just go with 3k HID...

dooderek 09-11-2011 11:55 PM

typical

MazdaASM 09-11-2011 11:59 PM

i think the idea of the film is that it is reversible...

frivolous_rob 09-12-2011 12:17 AM

You can just use adhesive remover and it should take that stuff right off.

Looks good tho I think Imma do this.

What's the actual name of the color? Just yellow Krylon Stained Glass Spray?

its very clean looking, can't tell it was sprayed. if you don't like it you can simply spray brake cleaner and a towel and rub it off.

Welcome to Mazdas 24/7 .... Oh wait wrong site. I was confused by the thread content.

frivolous_rob 09-12-2011 07:04 AM

Lol @ this rich bastard.. go troll somewhere else. Tho this should be in appearance, and whats the point of an appearance section if everythings pretty much gonna get blasted.

smitty5788 09-12-2011 09:12 AM

This isn’t the appearance section, I have that shit blocked so put it in the right place. And when did I become rich unless your talking to someone else? Granted I’m sure I make more than you but that’s not really relevant.

J_Logik 09-12-2011 02:33 PM

I've used this product before but red, specifically for custom tailights. It works quite well and is fairly scratch resistant and durable. I'd recommend it for all who are looking to modify the tailights on the Speed!:afro:

IDK if I'd use it on my fogs though. I'd much rather prefer the appropriate HID colour with a clear lens.

Obviously its not in the appearance section retard, as I said it SHOULD be in the appearance section. The fact that you heavily modded a genpu and then turned around sold it and now have a fully bolted sti leads me to the conclusion you are a rich bastard, probably more of a lonely rich bastard tho.

smitty5788 09-12-2011 07:21 PM

Exactly so the OP should put all 24/7 content in the 24/7 worthy section dumb ass.

Rich ... no, lonely ... no, make more than you ... Ya apparently and a better job too and I guess I know how to manage money better as well. How lonely got in there IDK, I guess you assume someone has to be lonely to have a nice car that modded? I guess yours is a piece of shit? Or are you lonely too? What are you 16 years old?

frivolous_rob 09-12-2011 08:27 PM

Bet your jobs not better than mine. No im not 16. 17 maybe. Millions of dollars and lives rest in my hands everyday. And by no means am I lonely. My car is modded but not with useless stuff that i put in a sig to seem like a badass. :) . Your probably only right on the money stuff. But in a few years i will making a ridiculous amount of money.

smitty5788 09-12-2011 08:48 PM

:eek2: Congrats ... hope that works out for you. Your right though I do feel pretty bad ass because I have a sig :fing26:

frivolous_rob 09-13-2011 06:51 AM

So i was wondering if you take the fogs apart and spray the inside if it would look better using the clear lense as like a clear coating, or if stock bulbs would heat it up too much?

Giggles 09-16-2011 12:54 PM

I know it's only been a couple of days, but have you noticed the heat causing a difference?

Also, I do have a cracked lense, you think this would cause a problem?

in b4 being blasted
