OMG....I asked what I thought was a simple enough question regarding octane use because I will be a new MS3 owner and not only do I get rude responses, my thread gets closed? How old are you guys anyway....12? All I wanted was a simple answer which a few have given me. For the rest of you...I thought forums like this were supposed to be helpful, not condescending. Yes I could have searched through thousands of stickys and threads but I do work for a living and time is precious. I am also of the age where the only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked. I guess you'll discover that when you reach maturity. As for me, you won't have to worry about any more stupid questions. I'll look for another, more mature and professional Mazda forum.

just put the highest octane you can find in it

If you end up with a Accessport and get a custom tune, whoever is tuning you will ask you what octane you're running...

The only reason people were rude is because this is the type of question that has been asked like you said "a bijillion times." That's why there is a search function. That's why I PMed that sticky to you so you can read through it. I also warned you in your thread that unless you read, you will get eaten alive. If this is your response, than you may want to really think about posting up in here. Most of us here are tired of seeing the same threads posted day in and day out when a simple search will net you threads that will answer your question. Now, if you do search and your question is still not answered or are not sure, then by all means feel free. I'm still new to the forum myself and the people here are VERY knowledgeable and like to try new shit and report back.

A car that makes 26x hp with a 4 banger is definitely going to need premium. It's a very common sense question.

Buy the car, you will love it, put premium in it, have fun in life. Come on here and research or ask a common question and still receive an answer but get messed with at the same time.

Hopefully those other forums can answer your more complicated questions. Usually they can't which is why everyone eventually comes here.

And those other forums close down way more threads than MSF does.

When I was researching this car on Yahoo Autos it said that it required premium.

You asked a STUPID question and got off pretty easy in that thread. It could have gone much harder on you and usually does. You asked something that is in the owner's manual, in stickies, and easily found with the SEARCH feature.

You won't find ANY site that is more knowledgable about this platform than this one, so now you're faced with a decision:

1. Go somewhere else, don't learn as much, go helleflush and neons, then blow your motor, then come back here crying like a faggot, or....
